Hm. The that clip is wonderful to see, of course, but I'm glad they cut it. "YOU COULD USE A GOOD KISS!" was a great way to end the scene.

Is it just me or was Carrie stoned ? Especially at the end she looks and behaves "strange"
Yikes...I'm really glad they didn't go with that one.
God, the sound in that is so fantastic especially in light of the fact that THAT IS AT LEAST HOW THE FILMS SHOULD SOUND!
The dialogue is a bit wonky, but I like their enthusiasm.
Anyone here ever try to follow up on this guy:

Some of those lines are really awful.
On the other hand, I do like "Enjoy your trip, hotshot"
I liked it as an alternate scene. But then I like seeing new Star Wars stuff of any kind.
It kinda felt more along the lines of the old comics to me.

That's exactly how I felt Tyrphanax. After all these years, it's cool to see deleted scenes, but.. yeah, you get the vibe of why they were cut. I'll give it one thing though, it does add romantic tension. My guess is that early in the ESB editing phase, it was decided to make this a tad less mature by softening the love triangle, ie. deleted scene between Luke and Leia alone in a hallway.
