They'll do anything to keep Star Wars in the public eye. At least it sounds like it's OT only costumes (Stormtrooper, Slave Leia, Vader, R2, Chewie).

I just happened to pass by it when I was channel surfing last night, was that really Carrie Fisher helping one of the guests? I saw Darth Vader & Chewbacca doing one of the game spots, any PT characters?

I watched it last night. They had a winner take all game as well. It was OT First the ones opening the cases were stormtroopers nd then for the second were the models dressed as Slave Leias. Darth vader was the banker. I had to admit, whoever was in the suit did a pretty good job and the voice wasn't too bad either. I liked it.

I admittedly liked the Star Wars stuff, although I think it was a jump the shark moment for that show.....

george lucas is making star wars into a cheap whore you wish would just go away.

squeeze every last penny out of it, seems to be the avarice , proving to everyone that he is now a no talent one trick pony.

Ruining one of the only 3 movies he made that were good.

(no I am not talking about the prequels)

It was hokey, but it also gave me a few laughs. I liked the OT only characters and lines. Also, I'm guessing that some people who make the show really wanted to do this for the sake of fun (and to have the models wearing Princess Leia slavegirl costumes); George Lucas merely consented.

One of the five thousand MTV reality documentary shows followed a die hard SW fan around, trying to bond with his son. The father dresses as a Jedi at cons, his son eventually decides to go as a stormtrooper. Much post-production enhanced drama ensues...

I think that having Prequel characters would be difficult/impossible, as normal people acting to CGI characters would be painful.

They do have prequel characters appear at some of the Disney parks, but apparently there is no Jar Jar. ;)
