I don't; it's that whole "chick flick" thing. On another note, Megan Follows (who played Anne) was in Thursday's CSI. A very different role for her.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Who the hell was she in CSI? My wife and I watched that episode and I don't remember seeing her.

She was the sister of the killer. Barely recognisable.

I taped that episode so I'm gonna have to go back and find it and show my wife. She's not gonna believe it.

I didn't really catch it until later in the episode; she should get an Emmy for the same reason Charlize Theron got her Oscar.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

And Nicole Kidman before her? Despite it being only a fake nose.

I'm trying to think of other uglified actresses who won Oscars... Hillary Swank?
Of course, there's also the actresses who played repugnant characters to win an Oscar: Louise Fletcher, Kathy Bates, Jane Fonda, Liz Taylor...

Ah yes, Kathy Bates...

"I'm your number one fan!"

I prefer that memory to her in About Schmidt.

Haven't seen it, possibly for that very reason; too great a resemblance to a nude beach, Bossk?

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

For about five seconds. Most horrific thing I've seen in film in recent years. I'd rather watch the scourging in The Passion repeatedly than see this scene again.

I know something more horrific: the shower scene in Gothika.

Haven't seen it. Why is it so horrific?

Take Kathy Bates' nude scene, and multiply it by ~50. And no nude Halle Berry payoff, either.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Yeah, it kinda made it hard to sit through the rest of the movie.

Nice. When did Amos & Andrew come out? That's the one with Nic Cage and Samuel L. Jackson, right?

I got my 2 disc Final Countdown this weekend. Sweet to finally see it in widescreen.

I'M NOT SURE WHEN IT CAME OUT ON DVD, BUT IT MUST HAVE BEEN QUITE SOME TIME AGO.

I ADDED KILL BILL TO MY COLLECTION LAST SATURDAY. YES, I GOT IT A WHOLE FOUR DAYS BEFORE ITS RELEASE.

Picked up the 2-disc A Room With a View; such a smart, funny movie.

Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Sorry to say, but I really disliked that movie. It just seemed really rushed and disjointed. Aside from a beautiful Helena Bonham-Carter, the book was better, and I didn’t care much for that either. Like any other Merchant-Ivory flicks better GundarkHunter?

Gotta say, the DVD of the 2004 (if not ever) has got to goto Freaks and Geeks Special Edition. For those who haven’t seen it, the regular edition is stuffed with extras and is in stores, but the SE is for fans and on-line only and it’s just sick with stuff.

If you’ve ever seen the show then you’ll understand how cool it is that the package comes in a huge high school year book. That blows my mind alone, but the 8 DVDs are just put together unbelievably well. I’m stunned by how much effort they put into this for the few fans of a cancelled show. They’ve really earned my support. I love those guys, I just wish Lucas could show a fraction of that respect for his fans…

I was partial to Howard's End, but didn't care much for Maurice or Jefferson in Paris. Still have yet to see the Bostonians.

Han Solo: I'm a nice man.
