Man, she was big time when I was a kid. She'd had a rough time during the red scare\McCarthyism years (she was one of many Hollywood stars who were blacklisted as communists), but bounced back nicely with her recording career.

I did, but that was a really long time ago. I can't recall if I ever saw her on there or not. Probably did, just didn't recognize the importance.
