Well, it looks like there was spike in availability, so now we’re at 85% compared to the 77%. The peers/leechers are killing my xfinity data cap on a torrent this size.

Spotting two folks currently with 100%, but I’m not pulling anything from them.
Torrent working much better now, got the first 2 films and working on ROTJ right now! LOVE the BD Rom features, they are fantastic, thank you phildesfr.
I’m not complaining one bit, but I should’ve read through the thread before downloading the torrent. The lack of menus and all the content being BD-ROM leaves a function gap for me, though. I’m going through the process of tearing the disc image apart for the files and building the BD around them in Encore. My one caveat is figuring out how to extract the audio tracks from the m2ts file.
phildesfr, you’ve done an amazing job at rounding up the content and an exceptionally designed packaging. This is going to make a great gift for my brother.
Quick question about this set…does the “BD” stand for BluRay version only of the torrent download? Just wondering before I attempt to start downloading this set (since I would have then have to go and get a bluray burner for the eventual burn).
Thanks!
Darth Raider
Yes, the torrent is for Bluray ISOs, all ready to burn and with many different audio tracks and subtitles, and some nice BD-Rom features. But you do need a Blu-ray burner.
Awesome, thanks for the info reply.
One more question…any recommendations for a good blu-ray writer to purchase that can do the job (making a nice SW OG Trilogy set) well, just figure I ask here from folks familiar with what is needed instead of browsing Amazon reviews etc…thanks!
To be honest I just found the cheapest one available from Best Buy and ordered that, the I/O Magic 14X internal Bluray writer. It was around $90 CAD for me, works like a charm, I haven’t even wasted any discs.
Cool I’ll check it out, thanks again.

From all of my research and what not, I went with the Pioneer burner. They seem to be the one that stands out among everything out there. Theyre about the same price as the above mentioned.
I went with this one by LG specifically for the Despecialized trilogy: http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-Internal-Rewriter-WH14NS40/dp/B007YWMCA8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1458565983&sr=8-5&keywords=lg+blu+ray+burner
Only $50 and I’ve had zero issues with it.
UPDATED POST ! Here is the latest version of my set, I removed the “despecialized edition” label, as many users on this forum asked for, updated the audio and subs options, especially for ROTJ on account of the release of v2.5. Here’s how it looks now :

http://s14.postimg.org/gp0u2evg1/DISPLAY_ROTJ.jpgFor some reason, the blu-ray muxing is limited to 64 tracks (video, audio and subs), so I chose to exclude the russian voiceover audio track and some subs from Project Threepio, and keep “only” 3 english audio tracks for each film: 5.1 and 2.0 DTS-HD and 1993 LD DD, hoping to satisfy as much the purists as well as world-wide fans.
Here’s a link to a .txt of all the download links you may need:
- the directions to download the Blu-ray ISOs
- the printable PDFs of the blu-ray set
- the editable AIs file of the blu-ray set
- the templates, logos and cleaned artworks to design your own blu-ray set

I’ll be updating the ESB ISO as soon as Empire despecialized v2.5 is released, and in the meantime, I’ll also try to get my hands on the Team Negative 1 35mm restored version, and maybe mux a blu-ray out of it.
I’d also like to apologize for my very poor response rate on this forum, I’m just very not used to this kind of web communication and keeping up-to-date on the boards, but I try to take into account everything that’s being written here.
Cheers, and enjoy !

Yeh,metoo.I have SW and ESB,but for some reason the Jedi file didnt download. I cant remember where I got themhere on the forum.
hey, curious if those isos have menus etc? can anyone post what they look like? i was looking into making my own menus but obviously would prefer if someone else already did it for me haha.
ps phildesfr thanks so much for all your extra edits you’ve made, etc.
How come it says that the download is no longer available on mega
Tried my hand out designing slip covers for 3-disc Blu-Ray case for the Despecialized edition trilogy:

The Isos don’t have menus, they go straight to the movie.
What are the dimensions you used for the slipcovers?
Do you still have your orginal version (specifically the two up A4 DVD Label sheet? I need to replace my Episode IV Disc label but your new versions no longer match the rest of mine as a set.
What program did you use to make these covers? I wanted to edit some text on the back to reflect extras included on my discs, and to resize the art for a Criterion Blu Ray sized case.
i just recently grabed these hopeing to use them as a starting point for njvc’s bluray set. source files are Adobe Illustrator, and some referenced Photoshop files. it took me forever to try to track down fonts though. the “make your own” set includes lots of source files, but apparently not the right fonts or all the linked artwork for illustrator. or else my computr is just being weird.
you can import the .ai files into inkscape, which is what i am ending up doing. still need the correct fonts installed first or it substitutes them and looks horrible. at least inkscape / svg format allows for embedding of the fonts used.
PHILDESFR, any chance you still have the source files in their entirety, and could save as SVG 1.1 for each of these?
Yeah I’m missing fonts and artwork when I try to use the editable versions too, and I installed all the fonts included in the package.
I’m having trouble accessing the .txt file on MEGA. Can anyone PM me the links? I love these covers and would love to be able to have these for my collection.
Did some revisions to my Blu-Ray cover designs : http://imgur.com/a/UrFfm
EDIT : figured out how to post images directly into blog posts 😄
