But I can't let you throw good money after bad. This is a real train wreck, featuring not only the aforementioned Village People, but Bruce Jenner, Valerie Perrine and Steve Guttenberg. Conjures up memories of the Stonecutters episode of the Simpsons.

please do. I remember when I first started watching 1776 all I had was a version that was recorded off the air and I recall it was dark. Then I recorded off the air again and got a slightly better recorded. few years after that I dubbed thing from a rented video tape. Some time after that I bought it on VHS. And then finally what I had been waiting for my entire life the Widescreen Directors Cut on DVD.

If any of you do watch it, I would be interested in hearing your opinions on the movie.
