Help: looking for... Cowclops PCM Laserdisc to DVD Transfers

Hi, I am missing a PCM preservation on DVD of the Definitive Collection Laserdiscs. I think Cowclops did a great one with fully uncompressed PCM from the laserdiscs. My question is, does anybody have them and could upload them, maybe to usenet, please? It’s been a while since they have been available and now I cannot find them anywhere online.

Yes and yes.
I can repost the ones I got from usenet (OP Aug 2005 by segaflip)

Thanks, that would be great. So which ones exactly do you have? When will you be uploading them to usenet?

Now.

Grab the NFO file. Use your favourite text editor to read the SFV file.
It's got dates & times inside, so you'll know exactly what you're getting

What laserdisc transfer has the X-wings attacking a THX style Death Star ?.

It's either the Dr. Gonzo set, or the EditDroid set.  I know because I used to have both of those sets, and I remember that one of the two had the THX thing you're talking about.  I just don't remember which one it was.

I think it was Dr. Gonzo, though.

Done posting.
Look there to see what menu screens look like.
I noticed russs's pages says "Laser Disc Player Used: ??"
It was a CLD-97 bought with TR47's pirate booty

Thanks for that. If ever I get around to updating those pages, I will add that info.

Great upload Mall, thanks!

Weird how the old LD players glitched out on their analog output for black sometimes, giving you glitchy puffs of green clouds that bounce around and then disappear.

1 problem with your ESB upload:

V.part075.rar is incomplete (only 96/116 available) ??

Thanks for any addon news post to fix this!

I have a feeling the effect you describe is attributable to TMPGEnc's primitive noise reduction filtering, rather than the player itself.

Looks like all parts made it to binsearch.info, so I probably wouldn't be posting any more.

Sounds like you'd need (116 - 96 =) 20 recovery blocks approximately.

Were I in your shoes I'd try to grab "V.vol031+032.par2"
You can tell by the second part of the filename that it contains 32 blocks. Should be more than enough...

Thanks!  I actually just went with a different news provider and they had all the blocks available on that archive.

Anyone have these available on the Web?  I don't have newsgroup access.
