I tend to prefer the theatrical cut because I hate the revision to the final scrawl, which I feel ruins the tone of the narration, replacing a mysterious “…but that is another story” with “…but that's a sequel we're never going to make.” I do, however, enjoy the additional scene and alternate cut of the finale of the extended version.

I completely agree. The end text shouldn't have been changed. Other than that I really prefer the extended cut. The princess is a very mysterious character that we see way too little of in the theatrical cut. Actually, a while ago I read a bit about the making of the film and they even shot a scene in one of the cities where Conan and Subotai met the princess. It would be nice to see all those deleted scenes sometime. I found a few on youtube but not that one.

Could someone possibly upload one or both versions to TP, or maybe PM me and work out a deal? I can't do torrents, and even though I contributed a bunch of Laserdisc PCM tracks (some I synched myself) for Team Blu's upcoming projects and offered to donate $60 worth of blanks, DJ refused to help me.

Yes you did some work and we thank you for that, not as much as you claim here lol, and your "donation" is not worth it at all, so you do what you have to do and lets keep the personal attacks out of it, and you are not the only person I "refused" lol, you were also told the reasons in PM so there is no reason to re hash everything again.

Not elite channels (i.e. MySpleen or some other invite only place) but far easier to burn your own discs instead of asking people whom already have some of the releases. Especially downloading the BD50 and BD25 content anyway which I've done for perhaps aroubnd 30 or 40 BD25s before.
No big loss, DJ. I'd rather be more self reliant when it's for burning and printing projects instead of buying and shipping off materials.
Soon as I download both BD25 & BD50, I'll be making disc copies for just about anyone who asks politely in PM since I expect nothing in return except for appreciation. I'm more the PIF person anyway.
We know lol, freebies are the way of the World, most, not all, really don't give 2 shits what goes into making these things happen and this particular project took a lot of time and money to make happen.

For the record, I sent you at least 4 PCM tracks (2 of which I bought the LDs specifically for you and synched them myself) and an LD-only video extra, and I never made a personal attack. I offered to send $60 of BDs and only asked for around $10 worth back, mainly for the projects I was helping out on. If that's not "worth it at all", then the words "you ask the impossible" come to mind. I'm not surprised you don't get many repeat donators.
