They left out the Justice League mourning for Superman as well.
i heard the only thing they left intact was the dark superman, lol. hey at least i have the BBC radio drama, which has red leader and biggs from star wars.
I didn't know there even was a BBC radio drama of it. Y'know Biggs from Star Wars was the dad who got mugged in the 1989 Batman opening?
and what is with the horrible voice casting decisions. instead of getting good voice artists that are pros at dubbing cartoons and animation they put anne heche and a baldwin brother in there, huh?
Actually, Adam Baldwin is not related to the Baldwin brothers clan of Alec, Stephen, William, etc. Adam Baldwin is a Baldwin unto himself. As for not simply hiring good, seasoned voice artists - i.e. REGULAR voice actors who are voice actors by trade and not just hired celebrity voices - well, Bruce Timm has always had a kind of obsession with wanting to get TV/film actors to voice DC characters instead of just hiring regular voice actors. Case in point: Mark Hamill as the Joker (man I would pay money to watch him as he records that Joker voice). Other TV/film actors who did voice work in Timm's DCAU include: Adrienne Barbeau (Catwoman/Selina Kyle), Richard Moll (Harvey Dent/Two-Face), Michael Ironside (Darkseid/Frank Miller TDK Batman), Ron Perlman (Clayface/Jax-Ur/Orion #2), Carl Lumbly (Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onnz), James Remar (Manhunter robot/Hawkman-Carter Hall), the late Brion James (Parasite), Dana Delany (Andrea Beaumont/Phantasm/Lois Lane), Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor), Michael Rosenbaum (The Wally West Flash), Miguel Ferrer (Weather Wizard/Aquaman), William Atherton (Dr. Destiny), Jerry O'Connell (Captain Marvel), etc. Every now and then you'd get a regular voice actor/actress in there like Rob Paulsen, Cam Clarke, Jennifer Hale, Frank Welker, Neil Ross, but you'd never find Bruce Timm and his guys using someone like Gary Chalk or Scott McNeil.
And look the celebrity voices of New Frontier: Kyle MacLachlan for Superman, Lucy Lawless for Wonder Woman, Jeremy Sisto for Batman, Neil Patrick Harris for the Barry Allen Flash, David Boreanez for the Hal Jordan Green Lantern, Brooke Shields for Carol Ferris. Was it really necessary to hire these big gun actors for roles that voice actors like Michael Donovan and Venus Terzo could easily have done? I honestly don't know.
i mean obviously christopher reeve is dead but they could have had Tom Welling read for the part of superman or at least that guy who did the animated series and last son of krypton.
