Anyone here a Mike Grell Fan?

I've just read the first new issue of Jon Sable: Freelance, and I must say that he hasn't lost his touch in his almost 2 decades of abscence with the character.

Early reports mean nothing. Gigli was supposedly going to be good... but we know how that turned out.

And now Batman fansites are desperately trying to make sure producers pick the right man for the job. Speaking of Kingdom Come, "Marvels" has been re-relased (wow it has been 10 years already) in a single volume. I would buy it, if I didn't have the original 4 volumes right here...

Those are in portuguese, but they released subtitlies in english. They are not very good though. Fail to capture the essence of the jokes.

Ultimately The Sandman is the best comic series in my mind. Excellent writing, more mature than standard stuff...would make an awesome movie series.

I started reading the collected series about two months ago. VERY good. I missed a lot of the better stuff from the 90's. Just finished Vol 3: Dream Country this morning. Thought it was good, especially the Caliope story. However, I thought Facade, about the superhero has-been, was a little overrated. I'll move on to Sin City after I'm done w/Sandman.

Have you seen NeverWhere? There's a new comic series based on this book of Gaiman's. Issue #1 just came out.

I know. I'm praying as well. That's just what the series needs is to have the mythology broken by the "creative vision" of the director.

I also read that Cyclops and Xavier will die, and that Hallle Berry will be the new leader of the X-Men..

Shortly thereafter, Ratner will be found dead in an alley with multiple pitchfork wounds.
