Wow, this one has gone by the way side. Time to bring it back.

Anyone else as torqued as I am with how screwed up the Spider-Man/Civil War arc is? Part of it is told in ASM, another part in CW #5, more in the next ASM, then part in CW #6 which has yet to be released. I love the Civil War story but please! Get it straight or give us a chronology.

I admit I'm behind on the Civil War storyline. Behind on lots of things. I only just got Watchmen yesterday. The Comedian looks like an evil Tom Selleck.

Anybody here looked up Fables?

I got the first Trade Paperback last week and really liked it. Definitely not what I was expecting.

It's on my list, but I haven't embarked on that journey just yet. I know it'll be good though. At the moment, I'm getting into Sandman. Up to Volume 3.

ok...time for an update.

**Spoilers**

Civil War - Great series overall. The artwork was fantastic and the story top notch...UNTIL the last issue. I thought it was a little too easy for the entire country to just go along with The Initiative.

52 - Very good overall if a little confusing at times. I'll be glad to get the extra $12/month off my list.

Right now I'm liking a lot of what Marvel's doing, though I believe DC is definitely returning to it's roots. I especially enjoy the 3 Spidey titles.

I think once 52 wraps I'm going to trim my list significantly and get more into the non-continuity titles like Superman and Batman confidential and Superman and Batman (*snicker* yeah right) Batman All-Star. Spending way too much $$ on my monthly comics habit.

52 so far has been great. It's really made the DCU feel like a cohesive place. On the down side, the end of today's issue was STUPID. Sobek would never EAT Osirus just becuase he was hungry!

Brave and the Bold #1 was pretty good, but the colors and ink didn't really flatter Perez's pencils all that well. Still, the story is interesting.

JSA is the best DCU book on the stands. That's the monthly I look forward to the most. JLA is pretty good too. Teen Titans has been mediocre ever since 'Infinite Crisis' and OYL kicked into high gear and I've already dropped all the heroes' solo titles.

What? They killed off a comic book super hero! I cannot believe this. This is as shocking as if they were to kill off Superman. Or if they were to have Bane break Batman's back! Just unimaginable. Isn't Civil War kind of an alternative marvel universe (like House of M)? Probably I am wrong on this. I guess I got that impression from the fact that Spidey is still really young when he does his reveal and he was 15 years old way back in the 60s. That would make him a pretty aged by the Civil War comic era.

Yeah, I always forget about aquaman. He's that superhero nobody cares about. But he is DC not Marvel. Anybody see the robot chicken sketch where they had a super hero big brother reality show? Everyone kept picking on aquaman because he didn't have any real super powers. It was pretty funny.
