I"ve seen some shots where the hair is longer and hanging over his face as well, as if it were a jester's hat.

Leave the Jestering to Harley Quinn WB, please.

Jack Nicholson doesn't come close.

Are you drunk? Jack Nicholson gave the best performance of anyone in the 4 1990's batman movies. Although Mark Hamill is pretty good as the voice.

Although I do agree that he gave the best performance of anyone, he still didn't seem to fit the part as much as Hamill's did.

Keep in mind Jack did the Joker for one movie, Mark did the Joker for a little more than a decade.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

Nobody said he did Warbler.

He was the only thing in the Live action Batmen true to the comics.

Break down of communication.

Happens all the time when I'm around morons and hispanics.
Not that they're synonomous or you are either.

What exactly is the definition of a hispanic? Also, am I one?

To the topic: I've seen some pictures from the next Fantastic Four movie... what the hell was that? The Thing looks like the Toxic Avenger! What, is Troma Pictures doing this one??

(for some reason I think people won't understand my Troma/Toxic Avenger reference)

All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. While I didn't understand the reference, I think I got the sentiment.

Ive heard of The Toxic Avenger but not familiar with Troma.

but either way, im sure the movie will be better than the one that was made in the early 90's and never released...it really doesnt take much to be better than that

Troma Pictures is a movie studio created back in the 70s, dedicated to creating the most horribly disturbing cheesy bad movies. From Troma came films such as "Toxic Avenger (1, 2 and 3)", "Class of Nuke'n High", and my favorite, "Blood Sucking Freaks". Their motto? "If it's a bad movie, it's Troma's". The Thing suit in this next "Fantastic Four" movie looks like the main character from "Toxic Avenger"...

Maybe we've been looking at different photos, but what I've seen of Michael Chiklis in his Thing outfit and makeup actually looked pretty decent. Can you link up any photos?

Hmmm... you have a bit of a point. I think he needs the more defined browridge and that alone would help the image. Maybe a bit more of a blocky jaw...

On a related note, here's a snippet of an article I found regarding this past weekend's box office opening for Elektra...

Quote

And that brings us to Elektra. The comic book-based flick, about a female superhero who rises from death to become a martial-arts vigilante, was sliced and diced by the competition, earning just $12.5 million. The PG-13 Fox release averaged just $3,901 at 3,204 sites. Even Halle Berry's dog Catwoman opened stronger than that.

Ouch. That comparison has gotta hurt.

Havent seen it but the article/review i read on cnn (take it for what its worth) said it was decent and that it would have been worse had the actors not 'saved' it. Pretty sure they said it was better than catwoman though.
