His name is Alfred Pennyworth.

I really like Wolverine in the movies, I despise him in the comics(probably from overexposure in every single marvel series).

Here's my take on the whole comic book movie thing: we've just come off a killer year for comic book movies. Some were extremely good (Spider-Man 2, Hellboy), some were fair to middling (Punisher, Blade: Trinity) and then there was Catwoman. The fact of the matter is that comic book movies aren't going away anytime soon.
My attitude on casting is that the best actor should be cast for the job, unknown or name. Ron Perlman OWNED the role of Hellboy, and Wesley Snipes is Blade, brooding seriousness and all. Ben Affleck as Daredevil or Halle Berry as Catwoman? PLEASE! Of course, they weren't exactly helped by lame scripts and bad creative decisions by their respective studios, but Catwoman is supposed to be this unhinged beast of a woman clad head to toe in leather or vinyl; Halle Berry can do unhinged (see Gothika), but she was really let down by the revisions to Catwoman's backstory. Daredevil was a wretched piece of shite that never should have seen the light of day, Affleck or no Affleck. He was wrong for the part, but he was only one problem in a long laundry list of problems for the abomination that is Daredevil.
It boils down to this: if Hollywood wants to do good comic book movies, they should use talent who know what they're doing and take their time, not rush the stuff to market with talent they think will make them money. Anyone can make the safe decision; it's making the right one that breeds success.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Well said, GundarkHunter.

What would everyone here like to see done with X-Men 3?

Well, they'll of course have to bring back Famke's character as Phoenix.

Technically they don't have to and they could say that Jean Grey really drowned.

OK some comic books adaptations I'd probably like to see are:

Lobo (the DC comics character)
Wolverine - Weapon X (the weapon X saga in which the origin of his adamantium claws and bones are shown)

And, of course: the first Marvel Secret Wars saga! I mean, that would be amazing! All the Marvel superheroes and supervillains together! Galactus! The black spider man suit (aka Venon!)!
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

I really enjoyed the Dark empire comic books and would love to see them as a movie * without any farting/stupid jar jar binks aliens/droids*

I thought Hellboy and the Punisher were both entertaining, I still haven't seen X men 2 yet but am hoping the new FF movie will be good, also wishing for a decent silver surfer flick sometime in the near future...
