Loved those crazy Doc Who 'fez' antics!  Especially when it got shot!  :)

Bingowings - Glad you showed that bigger version of your profile pic.  I hadn't noticed that!  Inspired.  And Jabba might suit one too.  Any chance of a version with a slightly bigger one on him too, cocked at an angle?

Guess they could become honourary 'Sons Of The Desert'...

Hmm.. must have been moderated already.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Rewrite the Prequels!

Aww.  That thread title sounds familiar too.

There is no lingerie in space…

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Carp.  I had a feeling it would get deleted, but I bookmarked it (and my reply) for reposting in the deleted thread archive later.  Last time I did this, the bookmark remained even though the thread was deleted, so I thought I was all good.  Guess not.

:-(

Maybe the bookmark is gone because it was just a post in an established thread rather than a brand new thread?

I don't think I can top the "traveled back into the past to bring spam to the future."

Moth3r,

I appreciate the latitude you and Jay have shown me in allowing me to chronicle LOL moments, and even to leave some spam in place for us to play with (tvbracket, NNRRPPB!, YESTERDAY WAS A LIE, etc.).  However, it seems unfair to lock my Deleted Thread Archive without any notice or discussion.

I noticed you left the spam posts but deleted any links to the websites spammed.  I have no problem with that, and if I had known, I wouldn't have included the links.

I'd like you to unlock the thread.  I can proceed as before but without any links, or if really necessary I can stop including spam in the thread and just go back to deleted trainwrecks only.  A thread lock seems excessive.

Plus, if it stays locked, I have to put it in my own trainwreck category. ;-)

I'll live with whatever you decide.  I just prefer to have some discussion before decisions are made.  Thanks.

Moderators on forums always have the final say.

It is arguable that commentary on spam isn't in of itself spam (just as commentary on global nuclear war isn't global nuclear war).

Some of the spam artists have provoked very funny responses (and very little if any commercial benefit to the spam artists and their causes).

I myself have posted what could be described as spoof spam (I doubt if I have contributed much to the sales of vuvuzelas, washing machines, washing machine parts, Indian meals etc in recent months).

I appreciate however how difficult Moth3r's job is and there may be legal considerations which we as non-moderators may not be aware of.

And if -for any reason- Jay decided to lock the Off-Topic section... Just a simple question: what would you do with your life, Frink ?

Perhaps time to consider making your own site, not to lose all your... work.

I think he did all this at fanedit.org previously ABC, so no harm would be done. ;)

You know you may want to PM Mothra Fink, see what that does.

Lovely, now you are following me from thread to thread.  You should follow your own advice for a change.  You are nothing but a used Viagra spam email in an inbox full of well wishes from family and friends.

I did what on FE.org?  Huh?

And I will PM Moth3r in a few days if necessary.

Yeah Sorry, you were talking to Moth3r and I somehow highjacked the current point... I won't post in that thread anymore.

PS: Btw, I've been posting in your Invisible Thread since the begining and you even not noticed you had an invisible poster there !
