Hey there, I am a huge fan of Lost and had really been enjoying Chronologically Lost HD. I was watching it on google drive for a little while then a lot of the episodes were taken off or I could not find them anymore. Could you send me the link please? I’d greatly appreciate it brother.

Hi, I’ve been rewatching Lost and was just thinking of undertaking a project like this to put it in chronological order. Did a Google search and found that you’ve already done it! I would love to have a link to download if you can PM me. Cheers!

Please…,tell me you still have this! 🙏

Hey if there’s an updated version able to be made, I acquired 1080p rips of the original movie episodes for the seasons 4-5 finales and season 6 premiere, they all had their scenes re-arranged along with some minor cuts (plus I have the reconstructions of the movie edits for the seasons 1-3 finales in 1080p)

If you’re interested in getting them let me know

I’m not quite sure what you mean from your description. Who rearranged the scenes in those episodes you have?

I would be interested in seeing what you have got, if you can give me a link to download. After watching this Chronologically Lost HD series, I am still thinking of doing an edit of the whole show myself where the scenes are arranged in “causalogical” order. People earlier in this thread were talking about this being done in a project called Lost Chrono, but it seems to have been lost (no pun intended).

On a related note, if anybody who has done video editing could give me any tips on preserving audio/video quality and file sizes, please let me know. I would be considering buying a subscription to Adobe Premiere Pro (which I’ve never used before) and following suggestions from online (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvNf6La5d1c) to do so.

Hello Fellow Lost fans!

I’m sure there’s a better place to post about this, but reading all these comments on here made me think it might be a good place to start. If anyone sees this and can direct me to a better place to officially post, that would be awesome!

While I totally appreciate the version of Lost shared here (and was originally inspired by Chronologically Lost from years ago), I have always believed that Lost works much better in a character based chronology (some here have cleverly called it Causological). That is, the edit follows the story of the main characters, rather than being strictly chronological. As a functional story, it works far better and makes way more sense overall (and I’ll argue forever that Lost actually does make sense!).

Well, I’ve spent a number of years doing just that. In painstaking detail. In full Blu-Ray quality. In addition, I’ve added the Missing Pieces (as with the other version), the deleted scenes from season 4, and of course “The New Man In Charge”. I really wanted to add in deleted scenes from the other seasons but they are such low quality (letterboxed SD in many cases) all it did was take you out of the show every time one came on. You can’t go from high quality 1080p to substandard 480p (or smaller) and stay immersed in the show. It’s unfortunate, but true.

I literally just finished editing an hour ago and got excited, so I started searching around for any new Lost edits that have surfaced in recent years, and came across this forum. I see many people wishing there was a version just like mine, and there doesn’t seem to be one anymore, and certainly not a full HD quality one. So I see my version not as a competition to the one shared here, but an alternate version for those that want it. Anyone who spends this kind of time working on editing Lost is an awesome person in my book, and I know VERY WELL how many hours go into. I think if I had kept track of the hours all this time I’d probably go a little crazy.

Anyway, there are many more details I’d love to share, but since this is just a comment on a forum I’ll hold off, at least until someone asks, or I find a good place to officially post about this. I have not uploaded it anywhere yet, this is just a first step in reaching out to the world of Lost fans. Though I love what I’ve done, and would love nothing more than to share it with fellow Lost lovers like me!

Hey there! I just posted below your post talking about this exact thing (I made an edit just like this). I used the full quality, untouched Blu-Ray files and the final project came out to be 884GB. It may not be important to everyone, but to me having this in the best possible quality was crucial. It’s huge, but worth it, in my opinion.

Thank you so much! I’ve been so lost inside the project (pun intended!) for so long, I hadn’t given much thought to what to do with it once it was finished. I’ll put together an official post on here, and thanks again for the warm welcome!

Hey WigJuice, this is very exciting news. I’ve sent you a DM about this, and if you’ve made a separate thread post about it could you please link it for us? Cheers.

Oof, looks like the email notification stopped working for myself on this, just noticed the flood of replies on here I missed. I’ll get to those in the morning.

I got your message though, wigjuice, and it’s nice to see some more stuff being done with Lost here. 😃

In other news, I just discovered that my original x264 encode (which I still have), doesn’t seem to be liked on my PS5 (very stuttery and constant glitchy artifacting) yet it used a Blu-ray profile when encoding in Premiere. lol But it may be a player basis as my PS3 played it perfectly fine, no idea about any others yet, I’ve only done one disc so far with the first 7 episodes. I was gonna start a BD author on those files so they still have some use and not just sitting on another HDD, though it is rather large compared to the x265 release at over 500gb, so I’d imagine it being a very niche version.

UPDATE: Just replied to everyone here since my last “PM sent” message. I think from now on, please PM me instead of posting on here. I still get emails on PMs but not for Subscriptions on topics anymore, no idea why.

Also tested the first BD disc on a PS4 Pro and Xbox Series X. Series X plays it just fine and PS4 is glitchy just like PS5, so god knows what’s up with the player (or encoder?) on PS4/PS5. Don’t have a standalone BD player on hand to try it out on so I can’t confirm on that.

UPDATE: The Mega links I had sent out just got removed recently, no idea if it was ToS related. Don’t remember who uploaded it but there’s another link Mike posted on his Chronologically Lost blog I missed before. So for the meantime, torrent is the only option, you can either find it on there or you can still send a DM for it.

PM sent, jayrok32.

Yeah, I noticed that I suddenly got more requests for it all at once. I’m guessing this was the reason? lol I don’t use Tiktok, only did a quick Google search by date

https://www.tiktok.com/@the_real_ivy_doll/video/7393142647428238634

Whatever gets more interest I guess. Though admittedly, I still haven’t rewatched Lost since I did this remaster.

Would still like to get some sort of upload that isn’t a torrent out there again, though it hasn’t worked out in the past. Google Drive had constant bandwidth exceeded that made it impossible to download and the Mega link got taken down (TOS reasons maybe).

If anyone is able to do that, hit me up.

EDIT: PM sent, Micmak.

I saw this on tiktok and I need this in my life. I have always wanted to watch lost but we were unwilling to spend that much time to just be super confused. When the idea of having it in chronological order and understandable I soooo want to have this in my library.

Yeah, it did tend to get confusing at times, though watching this edit certainly isn’t gonna help with that, but that’s up to you here. lol

PM sent, chepnut.

archive would be a good place for it, then people can torrent it from there and or break it up into chunks and they can download desired.

I’ve never used Internet Archive for uploading anything yet. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t stay up there long, especially with how big this series is. I had a look to see what the stance for fanedits were like on Archive and it seems to be hit-or-miss, particularly content owned by Disney etc.
