As my 100th post at OT i`ll post this thread about Christmas movies.

We all watch these movies during the christmas and new year hollidays,so one of them is Miracle on 34th street,i prefer the 1947 original over the 1994 remake cause A sometime remakes stinks and B they always modify some things on those,the part that makes the original better is all the mailbags in court,while the remake has the lame dollar bill bit.

I also like Scroodged with Bill murray,and National Lampoon`s Christmas Vacation.....so what are your favorites.

I can't remember the name but its about a dad who is a reporter and he doesn’t be leave in SC and his wife and daughter do. he decides to go to the north pole and find SC and his plane crashes and is rescued by elf’s so in the end he ends up believing.

I don't think I've ever seen that one, Empress. Who's in it?

There's a 1984 Made-For-TV movie I haven't seen in a long time. It's called It Came Upon The Midnight Clear. Mickey Rooney plays Mike Halligan, a retired cop from Manhattan living in California with his family who decides to show his grandson, who has never seen snow before, what a real white Christmas in New York is like. But he dies from a sudden heart attack in which Halligan makes a deal with the Archangel of Heaven to return to Earth for a week until Christmas and show his grandson the seasonal glories of New York City.

A Christmas Horror Story - 2015 (A little Shatner for your cheer)
While You Were Sleeping - 1995 (Sandra Bullock film, becoming forgotten now)
Anna And The Apocalypse - 2017 (Christmas, zombies, and songs!)
Christmas Carol - 2019 (with Guy Pearce, dark cynical version of Dickens)

Home Alone (1990)- the original is my favorite; pretty much a perfect movie in my opinion. I like 2, though I view it as a parody of the first in a way

The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t (1966)- Quirky, wonderful 60s weirdness. Not nearly as well-known as it should be.
