Wow. The person who gave you that second Item on your list just leveled you two insults. They think you won't realize that MGSIII is crap, and they alos think you suck so much you need a strategy guide and cheat codes.

Yeah, that seems like a Sam's Club item.

The Collectors Edition is simply a Limited Edition release of all of the Radio Dramas on 16 CDs with special bonus tracks.

These have been out of print since 1996 but they don't seem too hard to come by.

And don't worry, these have nothing to do with the SEs.

I got mine off of Amazon for $90 bucks new.

It is $195 at retail supposedly but I've never seen the collector's at retail, I've only seen the seperate cassette collections at retail stores.

But Amazon has it new for $122.85 and they have some "Used and New" from as low as $80.

Edit: It seems the seller I got it from (bodean888) has another copy up for the same price I got mine, still factory sealed(as mine was).

So, how convoluted is the plot of MGS3?

MGS2 was confusing enough.

Like everyone else says, its complexity is about the same as MGS one, but in my opinion its much more satisfying.

That couldn't be hard, as unsatisfyingly stupid as the plot of the first one was.

We all know of your hate of MGS, there is no need to further bash it in the gift thread.

I uh, I got this levi's t-shirt, and a nice blue shirt, and a coat, and uh, that's it. Next year I hope to get nothing at all, as I've insisted for more than a month for people NOT to get me anything. I don't want people giving me things, people spending money on me just because it's x-mas.

I did buy a lot of things for other people's though. Go ahead call me a hypocrite.

EDIT: so... many... mispelled words... it was embarassing, I had to fix it.

I guess there is an age when you really don't want anything for Christmas and tell people you don't want anything...

I must not have reached that age yet.

I allways feel selfish if I ask for a lot of stuff.

All I asked for this year was the DS, though of course I got a lot more than that.

I usually get alot because my Mom and Dad, and my Grandma and Grandpa like to start early Christmas shopping in like August and by the time Christmas comes around they have drawn out shopping so much by spending 20 dollars here and 50 there over so many months that its like "What in the world is that under the tree? I don't remember buying that...or that...what is this?"

my parent's are exactly the opposite: they do all of their shopping the two weeks before Christmas.

Very good. The plot of the movie was altered somewhat, but not a great deal.

The only fault I found with it, was that (at times) the lines were given to quickly.

Ex. Recall the movie, and the scene with the villagers and wanting to burn the "witch". The idiot villagers (Idle, Cleese and Palin) had to pause to think when answering Bedivere's questions.
In this show, those pauses seemed not long enough, or non-existent.

The surprise of the night, however, was when "god" appeared to give the Knights their quest.
In the movie, god was a Gilliam-animation. In the show, its just a massive set of feet that come down from above, then later they blast off (literally, like god had rocket-powered feet).
The big surprise was the voice of god.

John Cleese.

The songs were very good, and included 1 of Eric Idle's mainstays...Bright Side of Life (from Life of Brian).
