George Lucas was seduced by the dark side. The OOT ceased to exist in his mind and became the Special Editions...." "They're more maching now than movies. Twisted and evil."
Almost as odd as Bea Arthur bar tending in Mos Eisley.
I wonder what that was edited on. It reminds me of the things I used to make when I was a kid by plugging to VCRs together which would cause every scene change to jump. What is really funny about this video is the text is like the text of a TV's, VCR's or camcorder's menu text. Can you insert text like this onto a video with certian camcorders then?

That is really cool. Technology gets lamer as time goes on. Remember how those early VCRs looked? Things of beauty. TVs use to look a lot cooler too. I loved those big ones with the real wood casings. I wish they still made them like that. If I intended to have a TV in the future, I would really want to have one like that, but I think once the TV I bought last year eventually dies I will do without. Probably just buy an HD projector for watching movies on and call it good. Computers used to be really cool too. I miss the green text on the black background... ah, good ol' days.

My parents had one of those in the mid-1970s. It was a Zenith and I think it was 25". That was a fairly large TV in those days. It had the brass drawer-pulls on the front (the drawers were fake, of course- just facades). I think that was our 1st color TV. My Mom hated it and left it there when we moved.

That's exactly the type I am talking about, fake drawers and all. Those things were awesome. 70s technology felt much more futuristic than modern technology. Thin and flat is boring. I miss bulky electronics and curved computer/TV screens.
