Agreed. On the Piece of Bollocks part, that is.

IMDb had a daily poll on Monday asking which of the summer "blockbusters" people felt would be the biggest dud. The two winners were both of the Meow Mix features this summer... Catwoman at #1 and Garfield at #2. I would have to agree.

Selina: "Oh darn..."

This trailer made me think of the last two Bat-flicks, which is not good... I'm afraid that even Halle won't "save" the movie... too bad, she's a very good candidate for Catwoman: kittenish facial features and... well, you get the picture

Is it just me or is there something wrong with the newest catsuit? When I saw it for the first time I thought she's Minnie the Mousewoman (those ears! eeek!). Halle's body shape was better presented in X-Men, even though the suit revealed less skin... go figure...

One more thing: Miss Kitty fought with a woman on that clip. Catwoman'92 seemed to be the "avenger of all abused women", humiliating those pesky men (oh, please, RRS needs some spanking, too ), while Catwoman'04 is going to be.... ? well? that's a good question...

and this movie was supposed to be "berry, berry good".
I saw the original theatrical release of the Old Trilogy on the big screen and I'm proud of it...
How did I accomplish that (considering my age) is my secret...

Well, it looks like Warner Brothers has screwed up on their franchises again. You won't have to worry about me going to see it. I won't even bother wasting my money renting it when it comes out on video.

It has nothing to do with the catwoman from batman. And no matter how much people avoid this movie, it'll eventually make some profit to warner bros. They dont care how bad it is.

That depends on how much they spent making it. Troy is not going to break even and that is obvious. I think Catwoman might bump Halle Berry down a peg or two which is probably a good thing considering she is demanding a bigger role in order to return as Storm in X3. I'm sorry, but there are bigger things to deal with in the X Universe than Storm. The next movie should be all about Jean Grey, IMHO. And make Colossus and Beast the next big intros. Yeah, Colossus was in a scene in X2, but give him a focal point character like Nightcrawler in X2.

I pray Catwoman crashes hard so Hollywood will take a break from ruining all of our beloved comic characters.

The biggest indicator that this is going to bomb is studio confidence: It comes out in July and they just started promoting it in earnest a month ago? Not good...

C'mon. Just look at the outfit. That should tell you everything right there. It looks like garbage. I liked it at first because it was nice and, er, "showy". But the more I look at it, the less I want to see it. I hate to use that as an indicator, but when you rely that heavily on a "peepshow", per se, usually the script is lacking.

Mira's a closer match because, like Halle, her first major follow-up to Mighty Aphrodite was a horror flick, Mimic.

And if you think that's bad, wait to see Warner Bros new Superman movie, to be directed by... McG! Yes, a superman flick with lot's of bullet-time action with techno music, and Drew Barrimore (or some "actress" like her) as Lois Lane.

True enough, and the McG Superman is being scripted by J.J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias), so maybe we'll get Jennifer Garner, Keri Russell or Amy Jo Johnson (the pink Power Ranger) as Lois.

There are a lot of crappy music video directors who base their whole movies in bullet time action, McG, Piton (Catwoman's "director")... The only music video director who made good movies is Spike Jonze.
