Yes, why not.

You mean, like in a "Zed and the Gimp in Pulp Fiction" kinda way?

OK, so, maybe if you had seen that scene from Pulp Fiction, you wouldn't use the term "go medieval" anymore...

I used the term in the same context in which you "went medieval" on the YugiOh carboard cut-out at that game show.

I thought it just meant something like "beat the living crap out of"...

Oh, I completely missed the point of that reference.

I saw pulp fiction on at my dad's house last week, but they were cussing so much and so loud I had to turn it down so as to not wake my dad up.

It does have some moments of profanity, but those moments are usually the most priceless.

Yeah...

There was also that guy getting out of the shower that was a bit off putting. Besides, I'm afraid of being entertained by anything made by Quentin Tarantino

Becoming as sadistic and crazy as he is, of course...
Anyway, back on topic:

Anybody watched full metal Alchemist on Adult Swim? Can someone explain why the metal golem thing talks with a young child's voice?

That show has already made it to CN? Is it any good?

I've only seen one episode, so I'm not really sure yet.

The animation is good for anime, and the acting is better than most of what FUNimation does. There wasn't much action, and the villain of that epsiode was a freakin' crazy serial killer--but the Alchemist just panicked and had to be rescued. I think it was the pilot, because that was where he first got the title "Full Metal" (He has a metal right arm.)
It seems that the plot for now will revolve around the search for that Philospehr's Stone from Harry Potter, because the Golem with the kid's voice wants a human body or something, but only the stone can break the laws of alchemy, or some such Japanesey non-sense.

Oh, I read in Newtype that the "golem" is actually his brother whose body was taken away or something.

Yes, because, you know... the power of destroying a planet is nothing compared to the power of the force... even though you can use the force to move tiny rocks, and uh squeeze someone's throat...
