Can't burn Harmy's ROTJ Despecialized please help!! AVCHD files

I’m loosin my mind here, and I can’t seem to find a straight answer anywhere. I’ve been burning the movies on Verbatim DVD dual layer discs through IMG Burn. As soon as I got to Return of the Jedi thing started going downhill. I took the files and created an iso file through img burn and then burned the movie, verified and everything. But then it wouldn’t play on any of my media players. I even transferred the video playback file and tried to make an iso that way and still the disc won’t work. I know for a fact that it’s not my software needing an update or if my computer/drive is acting up because I burned another copy of SW and ESB and they played just fine. I just need to know is if there’s something I’m doing wrong, is my ROTJ file corrupt? Do I have to download it again? I also noticed it didn’t have an iso file automatically like the first two did. Thanks for the help!

What are you trying to burn and play?
The officially existing versions are

  1. mkv - you can’t burn this to DVD
  2. AVCHD - you can burn this to DVD but you need a special player which supports this special format

Have the AVCHD files to burn to dual layer dvd’s, got SW and ESB but Jedi just won’t budge.

Does the m2ts play fine on your computer? Perhaps it is corrupt. That release should definitely be fine, as it’s been the go-to best release of Jedi for several years now.

On the other hand, Jedi 2.5 is scheduled to be out Sunday-ish, with AVCHD probably some time later. So you may want to wait a bit anyway.

It does play fine on my computer but I did happen to get in contact with Harmy and he was saying the same thing and that the AVCHD will have an iso file so I’ll just hold on until then. Thanks guys! 😃
