I think that another way to make a chronological movie that could fix continuity… would be to make Anakin NOT Obi Wan’s apprentice, but simply his friend.
That’s just an idea, but MAYBE it could be done in the next fanedit that will mashup all three prequel movies.
Of course I would need to remove any mention to Obi Wan being Anakin’s master and show them as equals.
It would fix Obi Wan’s words to Luke in Ep IV, so that we know that Kenobi is lying (cause HE killed Anakin), but we really think Anakin is dead, because when Obi Wan says that Vader was his pupil, we think that Anakin was just his friend.
