Any Lightwave/3DMAX/whatever users here??

Sci-Fi 3D models database

I saw the original theatrical release of the Old Trilogy on the big screen and I'm proud of it...
How did I accomplish that (considering my age) is my secret...

wow thanks for the link. I've been looking to learn Maya and 3D max in the near future, with an eye towards jumping into fan films. and these would definitely quicken the process!

Hehe, of course he had to pre-select the page with the imperial navy vessels for us.

If you guys do anything with those models, don't forget to inform/credit the modelers of/for it. Hmm... if I find the time, I might make an originaltrilogy.com rendermovie... doing custom-banners is getting a bit dull of late. I'll post all my custom banners (in the proper forum section of course) soon.

I use Truespace.
Its relatively easy to learn, plus I found a free and legit version of Truespace 1.0 online. I can open most of the stuff on that page.

LOL, I didn't expect 5 replies to this thread during a Sunday

FYI, I'm rallying able 3DSMAX and Photoshop artists for my big-time modeling project for WW2 flight simulator. If any of you or your friends want to know more about it, PM me. We'll be launching our website soon (well... I hope before the end of this month, we're on the stage of buying hosting space).
