Burning Despecialized to DVD9 data disc.

I want to burn Despecialized to DL DVD9s to play in my BD player. What I have gathered from other sources is that I can achieve 720 playback on my BD player if I burn it as a data disc rather than a DVD video disc. What I can’t seem to figure out is how to do this starting with the 8.5 gig BDMV folder. Can I just burn this folder to the data disc? Or do I have to somehow convert it to a single video file with the audio track that I want?

As far as making the data disc, do I just use Disc Utility (Macbook Pro with SuperDrive) to burn it as I would any other data disc?

Bumping this. Maybe I’m not searching for the right terms, but I can’t seem to find a definitive answer for how to make DVD-9 in HD starting with a BDMV file. Anyone have a good cheat sheet?
