Would this constitute a "genuine Felix Lighter"? Heh heh

I love the part that says Broccoli didn't find Jackman masculine enough. This has to be the most asinine statement I've read. Given Jackman's cigar-chomping, lack-of-shaving, ass-whooping Wolverine (who got totally ripped for X2), and given Roger Moore & Pierce Brosnan's nancy-boy effections when playing Bond, Babs B. is clearly talking out of her ass.

Or it could just mean she's sick of the "nancy-boy effections" and wants someone a little grittier. Yes, Jackman has his Wolverine persona. But you have to balance that with his Kate & Leopold and Broadway personas which are starting to gain a bit more renown since he won his Tony Award.

How about an Italian Bond?
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

I may get taken to school by some of our resident Brits, but here's my understanding.

Great Britain (a.k.a. The United Kingdom) = England, Wales, Scotland, & Northern Ireland

Connery = Scottish, therefore he is British as well (perhaps to the consternation of many Scots)
Lazenby = Australian (part of the Commonwealth, but British)
Moore = English, therefore British
Dalton = Welsh, therefore British
Brosnan = Irish (not Northern Ireland) therefore very, very, very NOT British. Though he did move to England at a very young age according to IMDB so he's quasi-British. Became an American Citizen on Sept 23, 2004 (maintaining dual citizenship with Ireland).

Any flaws in my deductions?

Any coincidence between Brosnan becoming American and being fired as Bond? Nobody's opening that kettle of fish, now are they?
I am fluent in over six million forms of procrastination.

Ok, so its not easy to make a good movie. Does that mean you just stop trying? I think not. They have made good Bond movies before. I believe they can do it again.

Yes but, it's more profitable to make a cheaper, bad film costing less to produce and having the same ticket sale. You see, they have perfected the film industry in a way that they do the movie as cheap as possible getting as much money as possible, maximizing the profit. If they spend too much, their profit won't be as good, if they spend too little no one will see the movie. Every industry works like that, maximizing profits based on the variables you have, such as production cost, shipment cost, marketing, and so on...

I still stand by my point. And Hollywood still makes some good movies.
