Blu-ray.com being taken over by trolls! WTF is happening?

I used to enjoy Blu-ray.com a lot and loved going through the forum posts and participating in them, but now the site has been overrun by trolls and the moderators won't do anything.

Example in the Star Wars thread which I frequently visit, when everything is going along smoothly, there is one troll who goes by the name rickah88 who pops up and tries to get the Prequel/SE fans and the ones clamoring for the UOT to start an all out flame war. What's sad is that despite moderators warnings that spam won't be tolerated at all, this user is allowed to say the exact same flame bait material that he has been posting for over a year. Seriously, search the thread for all this posts and you will see pages upon pages of him talking about how content he is, how the fans who want the UOT are entitled, and how he loves his current Blu-ray set. There is also a user called Kryptonic who regularly tries to cause chaos by posting stuff insulting the SW fans who aren't fans of the PT/SEOT, he is currently suspended for this behavior, rickah has been let off without as much as a slap on the wrist despite inciting arguments, spamming, flame baiting and just all round trolling.

What's funny is that rickah has a huge collection which could mean he buys a lot of Bu-rays through the sites links which would give them more money. Are the moderators not allowed to ban these trolls because they earn the site a lot of money?

Now I see users calling moderators trolls and posting threads about them and the moderators don't do anything but lock the thread which makes them look very weak.

The site has also banned members for criticizing a certain company, mainly Criterion and Shout Factory, so I know they aren't perfect and may be receiving money from certain companies to block out any criticism and to make sure their product gets good reviews, but the amount of trolling on there is ridiculous.

The main perpetrators are MifuneFan and rickah88, and unfortunately they are the most active jumping from thread to thread trolling, baiting and spamming without any repercussions from the site while good members are being suspended for no good reason and for lesser offenses.

Anybody else been pissed off with the amount of trolling on there recently? I wouldn't mind if there were other Blu-ray forums that had even half as much activity as Blu-ray.com has but there aren't any.

Why should I care about this?

Yes, it's an unusual 1st post for sure...

Nah, it's easier to bully the newb in a separate thread.

Was blu-ray.com ever considered "independent"?  It always seemed to have suspciously over-positive, generally un-critical reviews.

They hated the Sword in the Stone BD, so at least there's something there.
