Best and worst joker design? — Page 2

I tried to find examples on the net ages ago. Couldn’t find what I was looking for.

I suggest checking out Gotham After Midnight and then compare the art with any of his Batman stuff from the '90s.

It certainly looks different from 90s artwork. However I don’t know if it actually looks BAD.

Best : The Man Who Laughs inspired Joker
Laughs

Worst : This abomination
Abomination

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Isn’t the second one just the guy from Twisted Metal? =P

No. That was when the Joker chopped off his face and wore it.

Spuffure, what did you think about Suicide Squad? More specifically, what do you think of it’s incarnation of the Joker?

Y’know, as indifferent as I am to the MCU (Daredevil notwithstanding), at least the characters (mostly) look like their classic comic book counterparts. With the DC films, everyone looks like a warped caricature conjured up from some really bad Elseworlds story.

He was okay. But please go back on topic. And make sure to use pictures! 😀

My bad, I figured it was still on topic to discuss that particular incarnation of the Joker.

Nope, still better than Suicide Squad. How that movie got a Hair and Makeup Oscar nom is beyond me.

If you removed suicide squad joker’s tatoos you get a normal joker. So the batman’s joker is still the worst.
