I agree that Donkey Kong and Link should be on there, but so should Pac-Man.

Yes. Definitely Link.

And Sephiroth is the main villain of Final Fantasy VII. A lot of gamers regard him as the greatest video game villain of all time.

EDIT: And maybe it's simply because I've never been into the Metal Gear games, but I really don't think that Solid Snake is prolific enough to be a video game icon.

agree with the suggested adds, like sybe im also holding off on the vote.

maybe add samus. and im wondering if characters like bowser should be tossed up there too. Video game icons should be the classic characters that everyone just recognizes. but i dont think it should just list every character...just the big name classics. like i wouldnt put pikachu on the list even though im sure most people would recognize him.

Maybe it's just because I adamantly hate Halo, but Master Chief?! How can he be a video game icon already?
