The petition just makes me laugh, it's so silly. Fanboys really hold a grudge. Affleck's a great choice and the naysayers will just come up with a stupid reason why the don't like him when he does a fine job.

I think this could be fine. He'll bulk up to look the part, and then Superman will say "I thought you were dead?" and he'll smile and they'll defeat space aliens or whatever.

I was never sold on (1) Man of Steel, (2) Zach Snyder, (3) another Batman reboot, or (4) a versus movie, so adding Affleck doesn't mean anything to me.

I thought he was actually pretty good in that movie. I don't think that Batfleck will be able to save the mess that Superman/Batman is going to be.

By the time this could theoretically happen we could have Keaton at Bruce Wayne. Sadly, I don't think Adam West will make it that long either. Batman Beyond is my dream movie though.

I'd love to see Affleck direct a Batman film, but I just can't shake his performance in Daredevil thinking of him as Batman. Seems like a poor choice for the part.
