Any news on the ultimate edition Imax scenes yet?
idk if you saw the previous posts - they exist and we have them. just need someone to do what adywan did with the TFA IMAX sequence to improve the quality.

I can’t find it either. I’d love for someone like kk650 to get ahold of it and crop the black bars and match his regrading of the non IMAX version.

Was anyone able to download the HBO version with the IMAX scenes (the non-IMAX scenes were zoomed in, too, but that can be fixed with a simple editing program)? The only way I’m aware to get a proper recording without doing a screengrab is PlayOn, but I don’t want to subscribe for just one movie. (I know that seems unfair to put it on someone else, but if someone already had the program…) On the other hand, their site says they can only DL up to 720p, so I don’t even know if that’s worth it.
However, the subtitled foreign one we have might be the closest we ever get, as I have had direct contact with WB, and there are no plans to release an IMAX version. I even proposed on-demand disc purchasing for the scenes only, but that didn’t seem to gain any ground. (And, unfortunately, due to the negative reception to the film, I think it’s safe to say that we probably won’t be getting a special edition any time soon.)

AFAIK, the Hybrid IMAX version - as posted here before - did this!

Your right after looking around and seeing screenshots finally. No point really… gonna have to wait for another source years from now?

Your right… its the same crap with the avengers movies. They will charge for IMAX versions now.
