Wow, I just realized how crazy all of us are. I know I'd probably freak out too (although I might not start a thread) if I went out of town without my cell. But, really, why is that important? Why do we suddenly have to stay in touch?

no i went outta town on a trip where i had to meet up with like a hundred buddies of mine. with out my phone. the really bad thing is that there is no phone book, no numbers thats the real problem.

I used to be into my cell, but now I don't carry it with me. It's so nice when people can't contact you.
I carry a small pocket address book instead.
Although, I recently found my old Nokia 7110 Matrix flip phone, and may start using it again, in which case I will carry it everywhere and hope someone rings me so I can flick it open.

Last night, I swear I thought my dad was going to get himself shot by this drunken moron riding a horse in the middle of the night on a major road. No lights or even reflectors, so my dad almost hit him, and then the guy on the saddle pulled out a gun.

Intense stuff, yes. My dad says he would have shot him as soon as he pulled the gun out had his kids and his fiance not been there.
