Ah, these docs look amazing. I've been on a kick of watching all the bonus features from each version of the Star Wars DVD's/Blu-Rays, and simultaneously thinking about how I'd like to shake up the Star Wars viewing experience somehow. I love the movies, but for some reason I almost expect something to change in them after I watch them enough times.

Anyway, could someone perhaps send a myspleen invite? I seem to have had my account deleted after not using it for a while.   :(

EDIT: Nevermind! I found walkingdork's thread.

Can someone please reseed the DVD version of this on the spleen?
I made a reseed request several days ago, to no avail yet.

Fanedit.info has a .dlc file for RARs on Rapidshare, but all the links are offline.

Is there any chance somebody can reseed this on myspleen?

We're trying if we could find it lol!

I have a PAL version, I believe it is the one described here although Windows shows it as 5.85 GB. If you guys are happy with that I can upload it to MySpleen, though my connection is very slow. Might take a few days.

That looks like a better version than any of the ones currently on usenet.

If you upload it I'll gladly help seed.

Yeah that works, I'm pretty sure I can convert to NTSC anyway.

What program do you use?

Does it include the menus?

Anything is better than nothing at all.

That's the problem I'm trying to figure out. I can't find a program that will convert without requiring re authoring. I have a region free DVD player but I'd like to burn this for friends as well. Working on finding a program with a simple conversion process that retains the menus

I'm going to give the program IFOedit a shot.  It just changes parameters to NTSC with no rendering.  I figure it's worth a shot.  From what I've read it works in some players.

I have used IFOedit, and it does work in some DVD players.  I've had no trouble using such modified discs in my BD player.  Other potential programs that work on the same principle are VOBBlanker and DVD Patcher, but IFOedit I think worked best for me.

Nice! Thanks for the info! Have it downloaded, just waiting for building empire to pop up on the spleen!

And if someone could upload the NTSCs of Star Wars Begins and Empire that would be awesome. Thank you Chyron I downloaded Returning to Jedi last night and put it onto a DVD this morning

I PM'd Jambe asking if he has an NTSC DVD copy of it. His profile says he was on the forums yesterday, so maybe...

Awesome, hopefully we hear back.  I was out of the loop back when this was released.  Only had the 2004 DVD set.  I didn't get fired up about Star Wars again until I picked up the Blu Ray set in 2011 and saw how bad they were lol.  Meanwhile I'm downloading the PAL and will attempt the "cheat conversion" with IFOedit.  I don't have any DVD players, just a PS3 and Sony Blu Ray player.  I will be testing it with these and will report back.

I got fired up about Star Wars when someone on the Telltale Games forums told me about Adywan's ANH Revisited.

Some weeks later, I downloaded Harmy's DeSpecialized Trilogy v1.0. I didn't care for "Star Wars" v1.0 compared to ANH:R because of the purple dewback and the yellowish tint in the Blockade Runner.

(I also went looking for the most watchable prequel trilogy, and found Q2's to be my go-to edits.)

But then Harmy started releasing footage of v2.1--and dang. FAN-FRICKEN-TASTIC.

I'm hooked on the Star Wars saga now. I've probably seen SW:DE v2.1 four times from start to finish since he released it.

Sorry guys, helping to seed now. I was trying to follow the letter of the law over at MySpleen and have been waiting for upload approval from walkingdork or another admin there. Seems I never completed the whole download as a couple of the radio drama parts were missing. Seeding 99.6% of it anyway. Thanks benduwan!

OK so I just downloaded the PAL and it is working on my computer but I haven't burned to a disc yet because I am unsure how it will turn out. If the video is in PAL why is it working on my computer? My computer is connected to a standard NTSC tv which as far as I am aware is not a universal tv

A computer will play any PAL or NTSC video, it's the standalone players that are a problem

OK so did anyone find a program that converts from PAL to NTSC and retains menu structure and works on all dvd players
