I don't have upload status on myspleen, but I'm willing to be an additional seed. Hopefully I'll have enough space on my hard drive for this once it hits a.b.starwars.

If someone can get this up on myspleen, my upload rate is really good. I'm on a school network and have seen it as high as 500-600kb/s. I can't wait to see this as well, I loved deleted magic and have longed for one for empire.

But I was going to go to tosche station to pick up some power converters!

I dont want to burst your bubble Pepsi, but this isnt exactly like Deleted Magic.

I cant give you full details about it, as I have not gotten a copy yet myself, but I do know that if you go into this one expecting another Deleted Magic, you're gonna wind up dissapointed.

Thats not to say that Building Empire is bad, per se.

Its just like comparing Apples and Oranges. Both are fruit, but they are different.

If I left anything out, someone can pick up where I left off.

Apples and oranges are both delicious.

And they are really not that different. The biggest difference to me is a the way the creators used the footage that was available. ANH has much more available as far as cut scene are concerned. Besides, Deleted Magc deals more with editing techniques, whereas Building Empire focuses on the behind the scenes stuff.

I was aware it wasn't exactly like deleted magic. What else can you really compare it to though? They're both informative pieces about lost sequences and obscure material. It sounds great though. I can't wait to get a copy, however long that may take.

But I was going to go to tosche station to pick up some power converters!

I´m playing on this for hours now. have a membership at astraweb and using free agent.
But I still have a question.
Is there a way to search only for the building empire release? I don´t want to search for all news on a.b.starwars.

I've just noticed something at binsearch.info - if you include the filename in quotes in the subject (as is the default for most posting apps I know of) then it identifies the NFO file and will allow you to view it from the site. If you look further down, Grinder's and Starkiller's posts appear in this format.

segaflip doesn't do this at the moment - hopefully if he sees this he will change the format of his headers in the future.

Anyway, back on topic - Jambe's disc is excellent. This is the sort of release that makes me proud to be associated with this site.

Welcome to the big wide world of the newsgroups. Few people ever look back!!

a.b.starwars is one of the smaller binaries groups that are in use with not too many headers. If you simply get all headers/get new headers and group the headers by subject. That puts all of the files in a post together. They are then very simple to find and download.

Looking at the Astraweb server, there are currently lots of goodies still available there. My advice would be to get the older stuff first before it drops off the server BUT Building Empire is probably too hard to resist!!

Decided to just get newsgroup access...mainly for alt.binaries.starwars

I can probably torrent Building Empire on myspleen when it's done downloading.

Thats also mainly why I got my Account!

Building Empire is a really nice DVD!
I would discribe it as Directors Commentary Voice with many EXTRAS
I really liked the Comic Strips putted in!
Or the Scenes where you see the Rehearsals.
And the Interviews with the Actors Id never heard bevore, except the ones from the 2004 DVD!
Must have been very hard to collect all the Stuff.
So my final word:
I cant wait for Returnig to Jedi
