Authoring DVD's

I was wondering, if I had a VOB file, or if I used DVD SHRINK, to rip the VOB file and the other data files (menu, etc.) from a DVD, what would be the best program (if possible, FREE) to author and burn that into a full DVD that could be played on a set-top DVD player?
Thanks in advance!

Doesn't WinXP come with DVD burning software, or is that just CDs? I guess you could burn the DVD files to disc as a UDF disc (I've not tried this myself. Just thinking out loud.)

I'm on my dad's new DELL Dimension E310, and it comes with sonic DVD burning software. Now, would I be able to get the VOB file from DVD shrink, along with the small menu etc. files, in that and burn it? Or is there a free peice of software that I could use-

Well, it's worth a try. DVDShrink is free, so run your DVD through it and see if your DVD burning program will take them.
