That’s great. Why don’t you buy the Scream Factory set and make your own custom edit that is exactly what you want?

jedimasterobiwan, it sounds like what you’re really after is the Primitive Screwhead Edition DVD that RidgeShark made a few years ago. It is only available in SD (and RidgeShark has no plans to upgrade it, so don’t ask him), but used the best sources available at the time so it’s still great to watch.

If you don’t know how to edit, it’s never been easier to learn how - even very basic tools are accessible and it’s a lot of fun once you start trying.

I’ve deleted my previous comment; it’s just serving to further the Jedimasterobiwan derail that’s sadly taken over this thread.

I’m hoping everyone will stop replying to his constant stream of “make-me-this” requests, and we can steer this thing back on track. This is an interesting project and I’m really impressed by RidgeShark’s method of overlaying the Koch and HD versions to add detail to the upscale.

So – RidgeShark – how goes the second scene? 😄

Experiencing a small burnout. The first shot of the second scene is excruciating to pull off, but it will get there. I’m taking a small break right now from this particular madness.

I’ve also been looking at ways to color correct these scenes and the film to help further reduce the jarring transition between footage. The slow fade from 1080p to upscaled 480p helps a great deal, but getting the color right is just as important.
