I am personally particular about the moving battle between Darth Maul, Quigon, and Obi-Wan in TPM although I am sad it isn't at least somewhat longer and more intricate.
i wish there was an animated gif of that rocket that makes a straight path and blows up that AT-SE (i think thats what it is) in AOTC - you guys know the shot

More intricate? I must respectfully disagree. It needed to be simpler, more like the OT duels. The flashy maneuvers in the second half of the duel, after Qui-Gon kicks the bucket, tarnishes the whole thing IMHO.

Intricate as cricket perhaps?
I most agreed with CP3S on rainy Kamino scene. I get that same sensation about rain. Could have been much better, but I loved the rain.
Hard to think of much that stands out in the PT like so much in the OT does, let alone a single shot like
The blue elephant in the room.
I made it longer, at least.Jetrell Fo said:

You stick to your 35mm deluxe prints:
You wouldn't happen to be gloating about the OUT not being available in some high quality modern medium, would you?
Because that would be pretty trollish of you, if that is what you were doing.
No---I was reacting to the very trollish response of Dural energizer to my hypothesis that digital has some advantages over 35mm film.
I saw Star Wars in 1977. Many, many, many times. For 3 years it was just Star Wars...period. I saw it in good theaters, cheap theaters and drive-ins with those clunky metal speakers you hang on your window. The screen and sound quality never subtracted from the excitement. I can watch the original cut right now, over 30 years later, on some beat up VHS tape and enjoy it. It's the story that makes this movie. Nothing? else.

Come the great EM pulse you'll be eating those words.
Nobody will be able to remind you of them online though because the internet would have died.

I didn't think his response was in any way trollish, but, ah, that makes sense. Seems obvious now, not sure why I didn't catch onto that on my own.
Of course, film well taken care of lasts a bit better than that, but that is certainly a downside of it.
The PT doesn't do much for me visually (or at all actually), but I really like this one shot from the pod race. It gives me the same feeling I get when I look some old McQuarrie concept paintings.
In ROTS when Yoda and the Emperor are fighting on the dais and it rises into the Senate. That wide shot is my favorite.
Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.
What stands out to me is when Count Dooku (worst name ever) throws Obi-Wan into that bridge in ROTS. Obi-Wan falls, then Dookie drops part of the bridge on Obi-Wan. The CGI in the shot is horrible. It looks like the edge of the bridge should cut both of Obi-Wan's legs off. Then Dookoo drags it along. Just looks awful.

I don't think you understand what this thread is about.
^ I understand all too well. That moment visually struck me as awful.
;)
“Grow up. These are my Disney's movies, not yours.”
^And that is one of the many reasons why ROTS is tied with AOTC as being the worst of the three prequels in my eyes.
^So then...which is your favorite of the prequels?
;)

LOL. How his legs are still attached or functional at all is beyond me.
