Anyone going to Celebration V?

If you are and you happen to find me, I'll be giving away copies of my never-before-seen Star Wars Holiday Special DVD to anyone who asks.  This is a beta version of a cleaned up and color-corrected version of the Holiday Special complete with RiffTrax commentary.

The best place to find me is at the FanForce/Jedi Council Forums booth in the Expo hall. I'll be the guy with the red hair answering to "Ben" or "that JC head admin guy". If I'm not there, you can ask them to text me.

I'd love to talk preservations or fan edits or just OT.com in general, so hit me up!

As a huge fan of Rifftrax, if anyone does take one of Zion's Holiday Special DVDs, I know they would appreciate a couple bucks thrown their way.

If he didn't mention it he won't is how I see it... :/. I do wish he would, though; isn't the raw capture 7 discs or something, though?

So did anyone run into Zion at C5?

I was there, and tried to find Zion...but managed to miss him every time I stopped by the booth.  Nuts!  Sorry we didn't meet, Zion.

I did, however, run into none multiple times and wound up hanging out with him quite a bit on the last day...along with some old-school AOL SW group guys, some of whom I've known online for centuries.  Some great times there!  The discussions we had on the last night were a blast, punctuated occasionally by the passing-by of a major or minor celebrity.  At one point we flagged down Ben Burtt for a short chat when he passed by our table at the hotel.

Come C6 (you know it's gonna happen), we really should organize some sort of ot.com get-together.  Discussing the unaltered trilogy, film preservation and other such topics is fun online, but it's even more fun in person with fellow-minded fans.
