'Anatomy of a Dewback' videos

Does anyone have “hard copies” of those anatomy of a dewback video files from the main SW site?
Tey are only available for streaming…
Is there any way that I can save them somehow on my disc? Or do I have to use some kind
of video screen capture around the area of the QT window?

are they quicktime files? im pretty sure if you have quick time pro you have the option to save the file.

Serialzored? What is that? Like razored or something? Cracking?
I never heard of that word.

Well, where do you get a serial number?

p.s. Is it against forum rules to discuss illegal stuff?

I suppose it is, so I won't say more, but the file was offered to me over DCC.

Ok, but it's legal to say what is DCC, so what is DCC?

Anyway, I have pro now.

And I tried to save it as a file, but it just saves it as a source.
The file is about 900Kb and it's not real footage, just a link, and it starts streaming.
Am I missing something?

I mean if this is it, then I could have done this without QT pro, just
copy the file from the temp folder and there you have it.
I thought it was supose to really save the file itself.

I don't know if this will work, but I may have a solution for you on downloading it.

Find and download the trial version of a program called Offline Explorer (might be Offline Explorer Pro). The program is designed to download whole websites at a time, but it also let's you download streaming files.

Now, I don't know if it will work with Quicktime, or with the sw.com servers.
What I do know, is that I've been able to download Real Player streaming files off the packers.com site, including a radio call of Super Bowl XXXI, which they played during the Packers bye-week this year.
(I need to grab the NFL footage from the game I was at in Dec. 2001.)

Anyways, once you have the software, get the URL for the Quicktime video you want, plug it into the software, and start it downloading. Again, I emphasize that I don't know if it will work, but it is worth a shot.

Ifve tried Offline explorer, but it seems SW.com forbits it.

but I did make some compromise with QT pro...the save function doesn't work, but
I didn't even see that there was an export function.
Now this is sort of rerecording rather than copying of the file. You play the file and set to
export at the same time. The file plays out and compresses the video in the same time.
It won't record audio, but I can record it myself and dub it in the video file.
It works like that.
