Where can i get the download link?
Hello everyone:
I wrote a private message to jimbotron235 in August but he has not yet answered me, I see that the last time he logged in was in June.
Is there any other way to get this project?
Thanks in advance.

So, try PM’ing that member.
Also, from this very page…

You may not be able to get in touch with jimbotron235, but Handman, myself, and a few others still send out PMs for it.
I hope all this helps.

Thank you so much! 😉
A little Late to the Party, But i would Love a link to this
I’m in the same boat. I’ve been looking all over for an accessible theatrical version and would appreciate a download link.
I downloaded the (huge!) MKV, thanks to zxthehedgehog and Handman. Being a video editor with some compression tools, I compressed it from 22 GB down to 6, with minimal visual loss. I can upload this somewhere if anyone is interested in a more compact version.

Your 6GB version would fit on a DVD9, so that’s nice, but 22GB isn’t really all that big, and honestly it’s pretty necessary to have a file of that size to get all those tiny details, generally. I’d be interested in seeing some screenshot comparisons between the two versions, if you’d be willing to make some.
“You don’t really mean you’ll kill me, do you?” - Juror 8
“Silence, Earthling! My name is Darth Vader. I am an extra-terrestrial from the planet Vulcan!” - Calvin “Marty” Klein
A single-layer Blu-ray is about 25GB, so 22GB isn’t too out of the ordinary. If your PC is nearing 10 years old, space might be an issue.

I can make some tonight. Sure, 22 GB isn’t big for dealing with locally- downloading is another matter. It took me almost a week to download it, and I’m sure there are others who don’t have fast internet that would appreciate a smaller version. If you have a blazing fast connection, then you probably won’t.
Here are some screenshots, big indicates the 22 GB version, small is the 6 GB one. I used tif format to reduce compression artifacts.

A single layered Blu-ray disc is exactly 23.3GB. I buy spindles of 50 of them in the 6X option quite often. Faster to burn and verify through IMGBurn compared to 4X option.

Hey I’d be interested in the 6gb version please. Could you upload it please?

So, give Handman or zxthehedgehog your request via PM, OK 😃

I’d love to host it there, but it’s not my decision. The creator of this cut hasn’t been active for quite awhile, and for whatever reason never commented on it as an option. I don’t really want to go against his wishes, not everything here ends up on MySpleen, and usually for a reason.
Understood. I just cannot seem to be able to grab this. All my browsers say file too big etc. I do have bit torrent sync if you have it. That is the way I have been sharing files privately.

i’m interested as well
I’m also interested in downloading a copy. Thanks!
Does anyone happen to have a copy of the commentary track from the Theatrical Cut they could upload? I’m aware its the same one that’s on the DC but I’d like to have a fully archivable copy of the TC in HD and I don’t believe this version comes with it?
Sorry for dropping off the map, and extra special thanks to stretch and Handman for sharing the links for me. Life got a bit crazy with work blowing up, and having a second child.

Please feel free to post on MySpleen.
Thanks jimbotron for this fantastic work, letting us enjoy the film that we all loved in the cinema!
I have compiled a set of English subtitles for the theatrical cut that I would like to offer as part of the project. After working on this for many weeks, I believe these are the most complete and accurate subtitles available. I’ve made separate versions for UK and US spelling.
Only one bit of dialogue eludes me and it’s at the start of the movie. As Salieri’s valet reaches the top of the stairs, Salieri cries out “Sí, I killed you, Mozart” followed by two syllables that I can’t make out. I’ve checked the script, the play, and other subtitles (English and Italian) to no avail. Does anyone know what he says there?
I don’t know the best place to host the subtitles, so for now I’ve put them here: http://members.optusnet.com.au/ak47wong/Amadeus.zip
jimbotron, if are willing to accept my humble contribution, perhaps you can add this to your main post? In the words of Salieri, “It would be a tremendous honour for me.”
Also, I’ve compiled an almost-complete list of all the music in the film. I tried adding it to Wikipedia, but it was reverted. Nevertheless, for those interested in such things, you can view it here. Again, I’d love to know a good place to host this information!
I’m a little late to the party. I included a link in the original post.
