I'm talking with a handful of people on an Alien forum and on Facebook about which ending to use as I type. Most of them already know about Fincher's feelings on it, etc. So far the directions been more towards the Chestburster ending. But we're still discussing it.
As to the confrontation scene in the infirmary. The workprint is the only version that doesn't feature the stainless steel bench.
Okay thanks, for some reason I thought it might have been in a trailer or something. I'll have a look at reconstructing an approximation to the work-print myself - I believe I can do it without needing to re-encode the sirius pixels h264 stream (aside from gop patches).

Just working on some snags and then I'm going to get a test mpeg sorted soon. Already got one person willing to test it. Would you like to see a tester once it's done RU.08? And I look forward to seeing your edit to mate :)
