It seems like Squid Game is the Netflix show that gets all the attention, and while I have edited that one as well, in my opinion Alice In Borderland is a much better show in every way. The cast is more interesting and easier to root for, the games are more varied, and the universe seems more expansive.
Please Note: This edit leaves some of the episodes in the first season (Episodes 1, 2, 6) fully intact, you can watch those directly from Netflix.
This edit does include English subtitles since the audio is Japanese.
Similar to Squid Game, Alice In Borderland is a game-of-death scenario, although it’s a bit more mysterious in nature and isn’t fully revealed until near the end of the show. Changes to the first season are mostly small trims, some bad CGI and character flashbacks. The second season is a much deeper cut, removing heavy-handed plot hints and bad dialogue, lots of flashbacks, and trims to bring the pacing on par with the first season. The ending is also reworked to slim it down a little, since the show really overdoes it with the mystery reveal.
These cuts bring the show from 15 hours down to 11 hours.
