AVCHD DVD9 disk

So a while back I burned a copy of Star Wars DE 2.1 to a DVD9 with imgburn with no problems, it looks and sounds great. I go to burn Empire a few days ago and finally go to sit down and watch it today and it keeps freezing up on me right around the midway point. I'm burning the disk the same way as I did with Star Wars and for some reason I can't get this to work for me after 2 disks it does the same. I've checked the actual file it's from and it plays with no freeze up whatsoever. I'm a bit of noob when it comes to burning these things, so any help would be appreciated.

I should add that I've been burning them as data disks to playback on my ps3 as it keeps the quality super high and I don't want to compress the files at all if at all possible.
