No, Ollie. Tortillas are not the same as toast. While tortillas could be described as thin Mexican bread, toast has a certain unique characteristic to it; it is toasted. So, unless the tortillas are toasted, then they are not toast.

Tortillas need to be toasted to be considered tortillas. otherwise they are just lumps of dough.

Ah, I hate giving out freebies! There is a difference between toasted and baked. Toasted is when they become crispy. If tortillas are to the crispy crunchy state, then they are toasted. If they are soft and flacid but not dough, then they are simply baked tortillas.

look, a piece of toast can be flacid but it is still considered toast (albeit old). Tortillas are the same thing. They make them by toasting them, hence the light brown spots on a package of fresh tortillas. Tortillas are most definitely not baked. Unless you get a bag of baked tortilla chips, of course...

I like chips...with nice, smooth, creamy chip-dip - It's fun to let it drip on my chin, and make a little mess.

Guacamole. Avoid all ranch/sour cream based dips, they are gross. You cannot go wrong with a good ol' avacado based dip.

I was going to suggest the same thing!

Personally, i enjoy a bit of fresh sour cream, but i HATE sour cream based dips.

If you can, just get a freakin avocado and mash it in your hand with Rotel. A quick easy guac you will love, guarantee!

Avocado + salsa (the amount of salsa to add is to taste - more art than science) = easy guacamole.

1) Wasn't it a total dick move for TV's Frink to piggyback my question? I mean, by asking right after me, it's going to appear as though you were too far above me to stoop to answer my question, but when Mr. Big Shot Frink asks, oh, hold everything! Stop the presses! TV's Frink has taken a break from correcting spelling errors and pretending to be a mod on his gift-to-mankind, never-takes-my-suggestion  topic-changing thread! I can just hear you fretting about it now - "I, C3PX, must focus my undivided attention on answering that precious, irreplaceable pillar of OT.com awesomeness, TV's Frink! What will become of this board if I displease Frink by ignoring his question? Shit! I can't let that happen!!" Man, both of you guys can go to hell!
