Yeah, I know. I have forgotten about it, but I am away for 3 months now, and fully busy, so it will be some time before I finish this. But I will finish it!

One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

You know what? This is an interesting project. I'm glad it keeps getting bumped. Heh.
I've cut out the scene when little chirping robot when Luke and Han are walking with handcuffed Chewie on the DS. Also I cut the scene with the same robot running around the DS when Falcon is captured. It is just too annoying, especially the sound it makes.
Also, I've cut out Tarkin sayin "Terminate her, imediatelly!" Now Vader says "I told you she would never consciously betray the rebellion.", Tarking walks up to Vader and just uneasily stares at him, then cut to Falcon in hyperspace. Works nicely IMO. There are a couple of almost unnoticeable audio clicks (but I know about them) which I might correct later.
That's a very strange cut list if you don't mind me saying Janshua.
Why is it strange? I hate that little droid. As for the Tarkin, he should not be giving orders to Vader, simple.
Don't get me wrong it's your edit but the mouse droid scene and the Tarkin line are both well loved moments and don't detract from Vader's strength.
Tarkin isn't ordering Vader to kill her, he is ordering her termination (all ready on the cards) to be fast tracked.
It would be interesting to experience the film without those bits but it just strikes me as a strange thing to take a dislike to personally.
I don't dislike Tarkin's lines, I just want to make Vader stronger and Tarkin a bit weaker. I might post the video later.
But I do dislike the mouse droid, as you said, it's my personal dislike. The movie looks more serious without it.

Without a more punchy line from Vader Tarkin's silence is unintentionally funny (well I laughed... sorry).
Well it was meant to show Vader having the last word and Tarkin speechless ... I do agree the scene comes off a bit week though (but tolerable IMO). Any ideas?

Hm, I don't know. I guess I am at 60 to 70% done.
I could use some help though. I someone could send me the torture droid interrogation scene with the torture droid/probe masked out, I would be very grateful. I am using the DVD5 version of ANH:R.
I am half way done with this myself, but I am doing it manually frame by frame and sometimes the mask tracking is not spot on, etc...

That way he sounds in charge of the situation and not Tarkin's to order about.
It does make Vader sound a bit like a scratched record though as he practically takes the same line with Obi-Wan.

I concur with 'Wings. That line could probably be included from ROTJ with a little splicing.

Which suggests Vader hasn't followed Tarkin's demand that she be terminated immediately.
Instead she is the bait for the homing beacon thang.
I was wanting to do something like this myself, but seeing how far along you are, I'll wait on it. The only thing different that I'd do is that I'd be changing the title and making it so this is Episode I.
