“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Or as one of my old high school English teachers would say, "hint, hint, clue, clue, knock you over the head."

lol, a good rendition of an old cliche.

I have absconded with that statement and use it to this day. Makes people laugh when I use it.

I also took a line from my freshman psychology T.A. Whenever he would stumble on some words, he would say "English speak well very I". Rather Yodalike, I admit. But I swear it works. If I stumble on words, I say it and I can speak error free for quite a while afterwards and it gets chuckles regardless of the audience I use it in.

Now if only we could find the keyboard equivalent of this statement for Shimraa to use when he types.

And on a sidenote, I have always liked that signature you've had for Qui-Gon, by far one of my favorite Jedi of the movies.

He was one of the shining stars in that movie. Also dug on Maul. And then, of course, John Williams' music also shines. Duel of the Fates is one of his best pieces ever.

I agree, Duel of the Fates is right up there with Imperial March, very iconic and Star Wars. I also of course loved Darth Maul, anyone who can take on two Jedi and kill a Jedi Master is something to be respected.

I just thought Maul was completely bad ass and I hated that they killed him off. Ray Park gets no respect I tell ya. Killed off after one SW movie. Doesn't appear in the second X-Men. He gets shafted.

I agree, he sadly is killed off or forgotton, but still, at least he got to be in two popular movie series and people like us at least know him by name. That has to count for something.

But it certainly hasn't amounted to a ton of film roles of late. Unless I'm missing something.

True, sadly enough, but perhaps that will change for him in time. If not, he can always sign stuff at conventions.

maybe he is just a bad actor, but a great martial artist... there have been many of those.

Well as for Darth Maul, with so few lines, he acted as much as David Browse, unfortunate there considering at least that Maul's voice sounds awesome, even though it is not Ray's. When he played Wormtongue though and acted, I thought he did a good job for what screentime he got. And at least he didn't have to say the worst line in the movie like Halle Berry did.

My bad, I meant Toad. Anyway, it was........cringe........

"You know what happens to a toad when it gets struck by lightening?......The same thing that happens to everything else."

WTF? Besides being the start of some good and really bad jokes, I think everyone in this universe could think of something better.
