Everybody please get over to the thread and donate, even if it is just one dollar. Laserman is very ill and his medical bills are astronomical.

Rikter and Coov have done some exclusive DVD covers and put them on a disc along with EVERY custom DVD cover that has ever been posted on OT.com, and Psycho Dayv has created a music CD (the contents of which I have no idea, but this is the Psycho One we're talking about, so you know it will be good). Everyone who donates $10 or more will be sent these discs, so for all of you who have been looking for disc art this is your chance to get them and do something great for a fellow OTer. And if, like I do, you believe in Karma, you'll be doing yourself a favour by donating.

THE CD IS THE MUSIC FROM THE LORD OF THE RINGS MIXED WITH THE CRYSTAL METHOD FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE DISC WHILE THE SECOND HALF CONTAINS STAR WARS MUSIC MIXED WITH THE CRYSTAL METHOD. TRACKS TWO AND NINE ARE WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION ALONE.

can it be said what form of illness he has? Is it fatal? In either case, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. I wish this fundraiser the best of luck.

THIS IS FROM AN EMAIL THAT WAS SENT TO ME BODY SOMEBODY WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE IDENTIFIED...

Laserman's medical condition (Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which is not
responding well to chemo) will likely require him to pony up about $25,000
and leave Australia to spend a month in the UK, as soon as he is approved
and as soon as he can scrape together the funds. He is contemplating selling
off all his Star Wars stuff in order to help pay for this treatment, which
just about makes me cry. Not just because it'd be cool stuff being spread to
the four winds at cut-rate prices, but because I know Laserman has spent a
lot of time and money amassing his collection. It would be such a shame if
he had to part with this stuff. I guess it would be even more of a shame if
he were to forego treatment to keep it, so I know hocking it what he'll
decide to do, if it has to be done.


THERE'S MORE TO THE EMAIL, BUT THIS IS WHAT MATTERS. THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS IS A GOOD FRIEND OF OURS ON OT.COM, AND HE'S A VERY GOOD FRIEND OF LASERMAN.

JAY HAS POSTED LINKS THROUGHOUT THE FORUMS, AND HE'S SURE TO SEND OUT AN EMAIL BLAST TO ALL OF THE MEMBERS OF OT.COM. ZION WAS THE FIRST TO PIN UP OUR "SPARK" THREAD, AND WITHOUT THAT IT COULD EASILY BEEN BURIED ON ONE OF THE BACK PAGES. YEAH, I'M ADDING A FULL CD'S WORTH OF MP3s THAT I MIXED, AND I'M DISTRIBUTING THE DISCS, BUT THESE GUYS THAT I'VE MENTIONED DESERVE CREDIT. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. ALL OF YOU WHO ARE DONATING NO MATTER HOW MUCH DESERVE THE MOST CREDIT.

Jesus, cancer...

When YIYF said 'even $10', I thought yeah that sounds good if everyone did it. But I didn't realize that goal was $25,000 (plus plane tickets two ways!). That's 2500 people all donating 10 bucks. Either people need to donate more than $10, or we need another plan.

I'm willing to chip in alot if I can get paypal working. Cancer, especially lymphoma, is REALLY bad. And if all else fails, we could always do a bake sale.

Actually I said 'even one dollar' - every penny counts and every penny will be gratefully received.

My mistake. I was reading 'every person who donates $10 dollars or more gets these discs'.

Although, the donations people here have been making here are great and everyone is very grateful for them. I'm not saying they aren't. But at the rate we're going, and if Laserman needs $25,000 by the end of the month, we really will need another method of making our goal. Not that I have any ideas, but I think we need to start brainstorming.

I put up 10 bucks. Combination of being in college and my cars tranny just going to shit stops me from more. I've known 3 other people in my life with cancer and it sucks and is so damn costly. I wish Laserman the best.

k i donated and i hope it went through cuz paypal really confuses me and i hate using it! it makes me feel blonde
does anybody know if laserman is going to england for sure? cuz then i can make him a scarf! i know how cold it gets there, and i'm really good at making them.
