My Muppet News post gave me the idea for this. I was remembering what the lineup was when I used to watch the Muppet Show on Saturday nights at my grandparent's place. This was classic:

Muppet Show
Love Boat (I know, I know, but at the time it was cool...and Julie the Cruise director was hot, at the time)
Fantasy Island (Ricardo Montalban, need I say more)

So, does anyone remember a "block" of classic tv from back in the day?

Friday nights...Miami Vice and Crime Story... it didn't get any better than that.

Unfortunately, I can't remember any classic lineups. I tend to forget when a show aired as soon as it goes off the air. Oh well. At least I remember the show itself.

When I was growing up in the 80's, NBC on Thursday nights.
8:00-Cosby Show
8:30-Family Ties
9:00-Cheers
9:30-Night Court(wasn't as great, but had its moments)
10:00-Hill Street Blues(possibly the best television show ever produced)
