Leia: You must use the information in this Artoo unit to help plan the attack. It is our only hope.

Tarkin: Yes.
Imperial: Whe are approching the planet Yavin. The rebel base is on the fourth moon. Whe are preparing to orbit the planet.

Dodonna: The battle station is heavily shielded, and carries a fire power, greater then half the star fleet. Its defenses are designed around a direct large scale assault. A small, one man fighter should be able to penitrate the outher defense.
Rebel pilot: Pardon me for asking sir but what are our little fighters going to be against that?

Dodonna: The Empire doesn't consider a small one-man fighter to be any threat. An analysis of the plans provided by Princess Leia has demonstrated a weakness in the battle station. The approach will not be easy. You are required to maneuver straight down this trench and skim the surface to this point. The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system. A precise hit will start a chain reaction which should destroy the station. Only a precise hit will set up a chain reaction. The shaft is ray-shielded, so you'll have to use proton torpedoes.

Wedge: That's impossible, even for a computer.

Luke: It's not impossible. I used to bull's-eye womp rats in my T-Sixteen back home. They're not much bigger than two meters.

Dodonna: Man your ships! And may the Force be with you!

DEATH STAR INTERCOM: Orbiting the planet at maximum velocity. The moon with the Rebel base will be in range in thirty minutes.

VADER: This will be a day long remembered. It has seen the end of Kenobi and it will soon see the end of the Rebellion.

YAVIN INTERCOM VOICE: All flight trooper, man your stations. All flight troops, man your stations.

LUKE: So...you got your reward and you're just leaving then?

HAN: That's right, yeah! I got some old debts I've got to pay off with this stuff. Even if I didn't, you don't think I'd be fool enough to stick around here, do you? Why don't you come with us? You're pretty good in a fight. I could use you.

LUKE: Come on! Why don't you take a look around? You know what's about to happen, what they're up against. They could use a good pilot like you. You're turning your back on them.

HAN: What good's a reward if you ain't around to use it? Besides, attacking that battle station ain't my idea of courage. It's more like suicide.

LUKE: All right. Well, take care of yourself, Han. I guess that's what you're best at, isn't it?

HAN: Hey, Luke...may the Force be with you! What're you lookin' at? I know what I'm doing.

Rebel over intercom: Stand-by alert, Death Star approcing. Estamaited time into firing range, 15 minutes.

Red leader: All wings report in.
*Red 1 to 10 report in*
Red Leader: Lock esvoils (SP) in the tank position.
Gold leader: Red leader this is Gold leader.
Rebel Pilot: Where bounching through the magnatic field.
Red Leaser: Hold tight.
Rebel pilot: Put shield deflectors on the front.
Wedge: Look at the size of that thing!
Red Leader: Cut the chatter Red 2. Accelerate to attack speed. This is it boys.
Gold Leader: Red leader this is Gold leader.
Red Leader: I copy Gold Leader. Where in position.
Gold Leader: Whe are starting for the target shaft now.

Rebel pilot: Their is heavy fire boss 23 degrees.
(Other) Rebel pilot: I see it, stay low.

Luke: This is Red Five i'm going in.
Biggs: Luke, pull up! Are your alright?!
Luke: A little cocked but i'm ok.

Imperial: Whe can fight the Rebel fighters, but their so small their avading our turbolasers.
Vader: Whe have to destroy them ship to ship. Get the crews to their fighters.

You forgot (excluding the Biggs and Red Leader scene):

Flight Prep Guy: Hey, this R2 unit of yours looks a bit beat up. You sure you don't want a new one?
Luke: Not on your life! That little droid and I have been through a lot together!
3PO: Hang on, R2! You've got to come back! You wouldn't want my life to get boring, would you?

RED LEADER: Keep up your visual scanning. With all this jamming, they'll be on top of you before your scope can pick them up.

Porkins never really died. His weight carried him to the core of the Death Star and caused its destruction. Due to syncronicity, Luke shot at the weak point at the Same time Jek hit the core. This was the cause for much resentment on Jek's part. Luke got the medal, Jek got to wash his jockey shorts. Further evidence to Jek's survival is the question from Red Leader who asks "Red 6, do you see Red 5?" This question was posed after Porkin's "Fatal" crash. He obviously responds for the leader does not question any other fighters.

Can we say grasping at straws? Besides, whether or not he "actually" died, there is dialogue that goes along with his alleged demise, and that's all we're concerned with here.

GOLD LEADER: The exhaust post is marked and locked in! Switch power to front deflector screens. How many guns do you think, Gold Five.

GOLD FIVE: I'd say about twenty guns. Some on the surface, some on the towers.
