Hallo an alle Krieg der Sterne Fans !!

Hiermit möchte ich einen deutschen Kreis ins Leben rufen, damit auch wir in unserer Muttersprache den bestmöglichen Transfer der alten Trilogie hinbekommen.

Ich selbst habe den Mitschnitt von Premiere, zu denen ich mir selbst ein Menu gestrickt habe (DANKE AN DVD-lab) und einen Transfer der Videos von 1993 (blaue Box - THX Fasssung) und einen Transfer dieser Laserdisks von CAV (die einzigen deutschen, die ich kenne).

Auch hierzu habe ich selbst eine Menu gebaut, ist aber noch verbesserungswürdig ( mit der entsprechenden Zeit).
Die Quali ist recht ordentlich, der Sound ist via TMPEG-AC3 Plugin in AC3 Stereo gewndelt ( DANKE TMPEG und pegasys !).

Unten meine Covers, basierend auf den alten Videocovern, aber jeweils entzerrt. Sowohl für die blaue Box als auc die SE´s.

Jo, ich wollte mir auch sowas machen, aber leider hab ich keine Original-Fassung mehr auf deutsch (meine VHS Kassetten haben schon lange das Zeitliche gesegnet).
Hab heute mal bei eBay geschaut, aber da gibts gar keine Laserdiscs der Original-Fassungen. Das werd ich mehr oder weniger vergessen können. Ein Freund hat mir erzählt, daß es alte deutsche StarWars Hörspiele mit dem Ton der Filme gibt, vielleicht kann ich mir damit was zurechtfrickeln (muß ich nur erstmal irgendwo finden).

Hallo Master Dyas,

ich hatte das Glück eine komplettes Set der Blue Box Trilogie in CAV für 40 € über Ebay zu finden. Der Rest dazu bleibt aber geheim.

Nein ganz im Ernst, für die ultmative Deutsche VErsion würde ich micht gerne mit jemanden zusammentun,-))

Ich selbst habe das ganze über einen LD von Pioneer abgespielt und auf einem DVD Recorder von Lite-On aufgenommen. Leider nimmt der aber nur pcm auf. Das gute war dann, das pro LD Seite der Film ca 30 min dauert (außer Jedi).

Das ganze habe ich dann mit TMPEG zusammen geschnippelt, ein bißchen an den Farben korrigiert und per ac3- Tool von TMPEG in AC3 Stereo konvertiert.

Ich kann Dir gerne meine Fassung zukommen lassen, selbstverständlich mit Menu.

Wie würdest Du das ganze denn capturen, wie ist Deine technische Ausstattung??

unfortunately I really do not understand this. Even if it should be an insult on Germans :-( .

But really, tell me where it is from. Might be interesting (even it may be disgusting).

But I can say: I only speak englich and french, unfortunately no portugues or brasilian ,-))

I would invite evrybody who likes to take part in thiis thread, even if you do not reply in German and you know only a litte and answer in English

It's not an offense, I swear! It's a skecth from Monty Python, called The Funniest Joke in the World, a british guy creates a joke so funny it kills anyone who reads it or listen to it, and during WW2 they translated it to german to be used as a weapon (of course that setence means nothing at all). I thought it would be amusing to Monty Python fans who are familiar with the sketch...

Hehe, gute Frage. Da meine technische Ausstattung eher bescheiden bzw. noch garnicht vorhanden ist. Ich habe die Anschaffung von technischer Ausrüstung, die mir das Ganze in guter Qualität transferieren hilft, wohl noch vor mir.

Momentan hab ich so'ne billig TV-Karte von Aldi als einzige Möglichkeit für's Video-Grabbing. Naja, und für den Ton halt den Soundeingang der Soundkarte. Laserdisc Player hab ich auch noch keinen, aber damit werde ich auch warten bis ich die StarWars Laserdiscs habe (ohne die brauch ich ja keinen LD Player).

Mein Traum wäre ja nicht nur ein perfektes Backup der OOT in deutscher und englischer Sprache, sondern darüber hinaus auch noch eine 'Best of both wolds' Fassung der 'o4 DVDs, in der lediglich die Sachen durch die Originalszenen ersetzt werden, die mir nicht gefallen haben.

Uhg. Ich verstehe diesen Faden nicht. Was ist der Punkt, einen deutschen Sprache Faden zu haben sowieso? Wer spricht hier tatsächlich Deutsch als ihre primäre Sprache?

Aber wenn niemand mich, : Die BESONDEREN AUSGABEN REGIEREN verstehen kann! Und der prequels ist viel besser als die Ursprüngliche
Trilogie.

Nur Machen spaß. ... Außer den besonderen Ausgaben regierend..

That was probably the worst online translation EVER... and it's funny that even the link got translated... translating it back would mean something like "free the translation!", so maybe we should start a petition concerning the surpression of translation.

By the way, since this is one of the most active forums regarding bootlegs of the OT, it's quite reasonable (and fair) to have a thread regarding foreign versions of the movies as well. I would LOVE to have a copy of the unaltered OT in both German and English... so, SHHH!

Oh, right, this is a German thread, so, on with the topic:

Ich habe vor, mir die Bootlegs von TR47 zu bestellen, welche ja so ziemlich die beste Bildqualität von allen Bootlegs haben sollen. Allerdings würde ich natürlich auch gerne eine deutsche Tonspur dazu haben. Ich habe mir überlegt, seine DVDs zu rippen, und dann mit Adobe Premiere eine deutsche Tonspur daran anzupassen. Das einzige Problem: Ich habe keine deutsche Tonspur der OT. Natürlich habe ich das VHS-Set der SE, aber abgesehen von irgendwelchen alten Sat1-Aufnahmen habe ich die unveränderte Trilogie in keiner anderen Form mehr. Das THX-Laserdisc-Set von dem ihr redet ist dann wohl die brauchbarste deutsche Tonquelle... videomäßig werde ich ja vermutlich nicht viel anstellen können, da ich keinen LD-Player habe (und auch nicht vorhabe mir noch einen zuzulegen), und ich außerdem mit meiner alten TerraTValue-Karte keine brauchbaren Captures erstellen kann. Natürlich ist TR's Bootleg in NTSC, also müsste ich zumindest eine Normwandlung durchführen. Was mich zu der Frage bringt, ob die Qualität der PAL-Laserdiscs besser ist, als die der NTSC-discs. PAL hat ja generell eine höhere Auflösung... welche Auflösung hat Laserdisc? Weniger als die 720x576 (bzw. 720x480) von DVD, wenn ich mich recht entsinne, oder?

Well, I'm not going to embarrass myself futher, but I did want to offer this: If someone has the German (NTSC) laserdiscs, or a copy of the German soundtrack, I would be more than happy to put it into my DVD for them (English/German soundtrack.) Hello MeBeJedi,

this time I´m in it with English.

Actually, I can provide you with different items, to achive this goal with a German Track, which I would really enjoy !!!!!

I can send you a copy of my handmade set of DVD´s (no problem)

I "ripped" my LD´s (btw those are CAV PAL LD´s;-) ) and I could provide you with the fragmented original rips of those (which means 1 hr of film on one DVD = 2or 3 DVD´s per film with an LPCM track

or I could provide you with the ac3-Stereo converted via TMPEG AC3 plugin

I can add all of these if wished. Please contact me via mail . it should be shown by now ;-))

It's too bad we can't just plug C-3p0 into our computers and have him do the work.

Weiß jemand von euch, ob man irgendwoher das deutsche Premiere-bootleg (wenn möglich mit deutscher UND englischer Tonspur) zur Special Edition kriegen kann? (und damit meine ich nicht eBay, denn dort sind sie ja wohl absolut überteuert). Und bevor ihr mir die Frage nach der SE im OT-forum vorhaltet: Ich hätte gerne alle Versionen von Star Wars auf DVD...

For scene by scene if it's the same as the DE footage I could slow down the audio to compensate for the 23.976/25 conversion, if anyone wants to use the audio for an NTSC DVD.

Unnecessary. DVD players will automatically convert it back to 29 fps. That's the beauty of IVTC - same footage, smaller package.

But this is sound taken from 25 fps footage being hacked into a 23.976 fps video. For it to even mux properly, I would think it needs to be slowed down to match.

Oops, you're right. I didn't see your "25" in the text.

That being said, Vegas will let me speed up and slow down audio without changing the pitch. It works great for the most part, but can introduce audio artifacts if you really try to stretch it (half/double speed, etc.) A change of 4% would be unnoticeable.
