Did you flip that shot of Boba in Jabba’s palace or was that done on the initial release of 4K83?
Either way, I’m glad to see it corrected. That shot always bothered me.

That shot is from the Lapti Nek scene, which has always been like that (not mirrored). The mirrored shots of Boba Fett you’re thinking of are from the Boushh/Chewie scene. Presumably they stay mirrored in this version.

Yeah, the mirrored shots are not changed in 4K83.

I believe the latest releases of 4K83 haven’t made it to the Spleen. You should register at thestarwarstrilogy forums if you want info on how to get them right away.

The reel by reel color grading has been released under the name 4K83 v1.6. Here are the screenshots for the final version:
I love the new color correction, always felt the print they used was a little mute and cold. (Emperor’s pale blue face).
But, it’s great to see the original print and have a color corrected version as well.
One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

That’s already looking even better!
I’m quite impressed with the current version, but at times it seems a bit… washed out?
I dunno how to put it technically. But, it still looks great & I’m looking forward to what’s next.
